@GamersFA Actually, it is not. Were you educated in law and history, you'd know two things. 1. Roosevelt attempted to "stack" the Supreme Court when they said his New Deal was un-Constitutional. They then backed down. You are attempting to drastically alter the meaning of the "general welfare" clause. HCR does not meet the hurdle of GW because it affects less than 30% of the population, BY LIBERALS FIGURES. GW refers to things everyone needs AND can not provide for themselves. (cont.)

There is NOTHING in it that can be shown to "drive down costs" ESPECIALLY when one looks at medicare/caid fraud levels. We aren't "heading toward" socialism, nancy: we are there. 1984 came and went before the titular year. When there was a reunion on the USS Forestall that had the horrible explosions and killed hundreds of men where he served, he could not be bothered to make an appearance to honor his fallen comrades.
