I think bull sharks are one of the only sharks, maybe the only, that would be quite happy with a diet of human. We dont have enough fat for great whites which are the other sharks that regularly eat mammals...Bull sharks however have been known to eat plenty of other terrestrial mammals, such as dogs, or whatever they come across in the mississipi...not finiky eaters. I dont think its less likely to get struck by lightning if you remember a lot of shark attacks are unreported (eaten,MIA)

If I'm correctly informed, than Bullsharks have the produce the highest rate of testoerone in their bodies of all creatures on the planet, making them very aggressive. Combine this with their ability to swim in freshwater too, and you got something more dangerous than a great white I think.

Not true actually, we're too boney to be actual prey for sharks. And, we taste awful to sharks. Most "shark attacks" occur because we are mistaken for seals. Most sharks are intelligent, and inquisitive creatures, and would quickly spit a human out if sampled. Not without injury though, since sharks' teeth are razor sharp weapons. And anyways, no one forces someone to go swimming potentially dangerous swimming areas.

That stat everybody repeats about being more likely to be struck my lightening or hit by a car than to be bitten by a shark is really stupid and disingenuous. Most folks spend alot more time around places where there is lightening and cars than they do in places where they are likely to encounter sharks.

I think bull sharks are one of the only sharks, maybe the only, that would be quite happy with a diet of human. We dont have enough fat for great whites which are the other sharks that regularly eat mammals...Bull sharks however have been known to eat plenty of other terrestrial mammals, such as dogs, or whatever they come across in the mississipi...not finiky eaters. I dont think its less likely to get struck by lightning if you remember a lot of shark attacks are unreported (eaten,MIA)

If you are out in the rain, there is a larger chance of being struck by lightning than there is getting attacked by a shark when swimming in the ocean.

If you swim in a pool during a thunder storm or whatever you are most likely to get struck by lightning.
However, if you're stranded in the middle of the ocean and don't know anything about what attracks sharks, you're going ot get a shark bite. :) (sorry if I wrote some words wrong)

Actually we lack the particular things a shark needs in its diet. They will attack but they don't eat us. Most sharks bite but release shortly after. Rarely hear stories where the sharks literally eat a human. Usually its I was attacked then bleed to death. Not I was ate. But ya if we all swam in the coastal waters where they primarily live we would get more attacks.

again you're ridiculous, Who says they are talking about deep water, and if you're talking about seals, Im assuming you are talking about south africa or other hunting grounds, and swimming there would be asking for trouble. If i go out in a rainstorm holding a big metal pole that raises my chances of getting struck as well. What kind of an argument is that? You're never 100 % safe out in the water, but common sense helps.

you dont need to go to deep water to meet sharks.
Great whites, tigersharks and bull sharks usually hunt at the surface or in shallow water less than 1 km off shore.
For the last 20 years+x ppl thought in falsebay the sharks were several km off shore because there was no attack in the past 20 years. But research shows up that there are always more than 5 over 4m long great whites in less than 10m depth under the surfers.There was no attack in 20 years explain that!

You do realize that people in thunderstorms are likely to be in a city near high buildings and many metall-stuff.
And if you compare how many hours people spend in the ocean without any protection and on open land during a thunderstorm, you will see that the time people spend in the ocean is longer.
Like someone near a skyscraper or inside a car wont be hit by a lightning, someone in a cage wont be bitten by a shark.

Nat Geo & Maryland scientists had preposterous reports, snakehead walked on dry land & survived 4days out of water, using insecticide poisoning entire lake killing more fishes than snakeheads! Failed to consider repercussion of such action thinking the results are inconsequential. Lakes lead to sea & effects maybe accumulatively disastrous with like-minded irresponsible people. Extremely hardy even in the worst water condition & got nasty bites! DON'T WALK but slither like eels when on dry land.

No, actually, my understanding is that if the bulls see you and know that you see them, they're much less likely to attack. They are easily one of the most aggressive animals on the planet.
So yeah, I'd get out of the water if I saw one.

If I'm correctly informed, than Bullsharks have the produce the highest rate of testoerone in their bodies of all creatures on the planet, making them very aggressive. Combine this with their ability to swim in freshwater too, and you got something more dangerous than a great white I think.

Thats a really big problem in east asia where the chinese etc hunt the sharks for no reason.
they get like 2 cents per shark fin so they dont earn much money with it.
in japan some people eat shark fins because they think this will make their weewee bigger (stupid isnt it?)

Not true actually, we're too boney to be actual prey for sharks. And, we taste awful to sharks. Most "shark attacks" occur because we are mistaken for seals. Most sharks are intelligent, and inquisitive creatures, and would quickly spit a human out if sampled. Not without injury though, since sharks' teeth are razor sharp weapons. And anyways, no one forces someone to go swimming potentially dangerous swimming areas.
