A problem is a completely different word than a mistake (which HE asked), so what's the purpose for that major discrepancy? ...and what your new excuse for it? I've heard a hundred different, and some unrealistic and retarded excuses from her fans. But the facts remains that her response was all over the place:
*Venus repeated groups of words (thank-you thank-you and major-major). *Venus greeted everyone. *Venus gave a story about her family. AND **Venus did not answer the judge's 2-part question, she ignored it.
Not used to admitting mistakes in your own country is one thing, giving that response and avoiding the question is a another.

" the question thrown to venus was the same as of miss Trin/Tob in 2004, she also struggled and she landed 4th RU too ... anyway, among the 5 Jimena was the most beautiful !!!

biggest mistake means very big than big... and we should learn from that word that was not easy to deliver the answer upon admitting one flaws which is biggest... the fine line between the question and answer is to "finish it and save yourself"... i consider big than biggest...

@cindyprito nobody is criticizing her.... we are talking about what if MUO stop giving interpreters and make candidates try to speak english since not everybody can speak fluent english just like us... right?? it will be a upper hand for english speaking countries but this will prove if venezuela really deserves their titles. and/or again every non-english speaking countries that enters the top 15 ask for their own interpreters... =)

Es probable que nunca se le de gusto a la gente pero asi pasa año tras año y decimos lo mismo "es concursante no me gusta para miss universo", pero por algo los jueces la seleccionaron como miss universo, asi pensaba yo cuando Elisa Najera no ganó, Venus era una fuerte contrincante pero los Filipinos no le van a ver ningun defecto obvio.

well, if you watch again the interview portion for the top 5.. Mexico really did not answer the final question.. if i remember it right, she was asked about what are the effects of unsupervised internet usage to the youth... did she mentioned a single effect? NO she did not. ..

i don't mind what she answers here, but i like it when she responded to the reporter That she doesn't believe she's the prettiest but she believes it's Destiny that is a winning answer at least she's not conceited.
