we went to la coruna sep. 2007 and stayed at maria pita - exelent place and hotel will defenately return - not to many english there as yet.

I know La Coruña like the back of my hand, in fact my parents live here. La Coruña is a quiet, clean and beautiful city with spectacular views across to the ocean. The negative point is the busy traffic. It´s permanently jammed with cars. The local authorities should do something about it.

I´ve also noticed that some people here have a tendency to show off...this is not negative at all, but that attitude is odd enough for a lovely city like this.

I wish that was the only negative point lol...down here at my street I got 12 bars around and as u can imagine every night unless mondays and tuesdays its da same story...noise, fights and I just cant sleep

Halo acnielsen62!!! Nice video from A Coruña! I am from Coruña, but I don't have your luck to live there. :( I'm living in Germany since 32 years. And you can't imagine how much I miss "my" town. I am English man but lived in the United States for 35 yesars. I used to visit Coruña for a month every two years. Like you, I just loved to walk around the city. I retired here 14 years ago and love every minute of my retirement.

A great city. Spent a week here on my year cycle tour of Spain. Very useful cycleways, not like the uk all bits and pieces.
