y'know i like it a lot better the way he sings on the cds. he just sings it differently live. proplably because he gets drunk before concerts... he is hilarious though

No ones First and you're next is AMAZING!! It flows and has tons of amazing songs. I hold The Whale song and king rat just as high as any classic MM song. Just because MM has gotten more popular doesn't mean it's gotten worse. Look up 180 degrees south soundtrack. That's his most recent work and it's amazing too.

shockingly enough from my little 3-4 year old sony cybershot, a little point & shoot. takes darn good video to be mainly a camera for taking stills.

No shit? What's the make? I'll bet it's got a stereo mic. It was a big deal a few years back, but consumers never took advantage of it, so to cut costs they stopped putting them into consumer grade still shots.

it was the sony dsc w100. i actually just got a newer version of that camera, so i've been researching the crap out of them b/c i didn't want to give up the video picture & sound quality. for the price, sony makes a darn good point&shoot with video. after looking at all the major brands i decided on another sony (dsc w120). i have taken some video-may even be better but i haven't been to a show with it yet, so it hasn't been fully tested. probably more info than you needed, but there you go :)

I was there..it was amazing. All the people got up on stage and Isaac asked them nicely to go away. I'm pretty sure at one point he tried to hit a guy with his guitar or something.

the reason i love modest mouse is becuz they sing about wat i believe in and they dont ge cought up in being famous. The reason they prpbably never talk is bcuz most of there audiance doesnt completly know there songs, they just listen and like the sound and thats it, most people prbably dont even egt the meaning of a song and probably dont even care, there just not LISTENING to the song, so iaac prbbly just doent take the time to talk to them.

Isaac said in an interview he loves having his own ideas on what songs mean and he doesnt want to have songs explained to him. So he probably feels the same way about his music he probably doesnt care what way you take it just that you enjoy it.

Ah, I can actually spot the corner of my head in this video when it lights up and I pause it. I was on the rail in front of Johnny. I can see all of my friends much more clearly. Tiny cities and the I Came as a Rat encore were my favorite moments of the night. I was just HOPING for Teeth Like God's Shoeshine though.

I wish i was at this show. The show they put on in NYC was good but Isaac just got through all the songs and left, never really chatted with the crowd or anything. I guess he wasnt in the mood :(
