And yes, the epicness coming from an ending from an snes game like this is better than any game i've played recently, and that is just astonishing. Maybe it was because we were all young when we beat this, and it all felt even more epic, leaving a mark on our hearts. These are the games that made gaming. They weren't too real, they weren't too competitive... they were perfect.

I will always prefer the original-sounding and inspired music in a videogame (with a main theme that is being or not repeated and amplified like this Kirby or SuperMarioRPG/World or the Donkey Kongs) over the big instrumental-orchestral and cinematic score.

It feels/felt big because of the highly-stimulating colors, the challenging enough difficulty, the story and the music very climactic and scenario-driving...

Kirby Super Star felt big because you still feel nostalgic about it. About how small you were as an imaginative child to take a plastic toy and learn to control a small creature that would eventually save his homeland and pretty much the world.

Seems like most games, after a few weeks they're done mostly. Kirby Superstar I played for years and with friends and family and everything. Still, we got COD4 like two years ago and we still play it sometimes, so some games last longer than others.

Comparing across generations of video games is really hard. We were so different.

They can be more like a movie than ever before. Online stuff of course.

SMRPG/World and the DK games were also some of my favs as a kid.

@Usul573 Okay, same here, just that I've become a guy who likes music and really: Super Nintendo had the best videogame music ever. I don't really like 8-bit and NES.

As for modern videogames, online gaming is really fun... yeah, on a PC or maybe a 360, but I still wish I could revive the console gaming experience the way I used to live it as a kid... I'm sure music has something to do with it. For me.

There is this thing it is called the Touhou project... that's a nice one, musically.

There's something quite magical about this ending music. It uses the mechanics of various other tunes used in the game that creates an over all feeling of completion.

I cried watching this for the first time, having beaten the game... and I feel I could cry again anytime listening to this being a little emotional in my life or simply in a urge for nostalgia reminiscing the good old time, days when I could play video games for 14 hours with my best friend and not care about anything else.

The ending in KSSU... I just don't like it as much as this one. For one, they moved the classic funny Kirby sprites to the ending for Revenge of the King, and the ending theme isn't as good. This ending also has that nice, retro tone to it. I still think KSSU kicks ass, though. Especially RofMK.
