I dont get this song. What is in the air we breathe and in the water? "We both know how this ends"..I dont. How does this end? What is it we want and they have?
Remember the swine flu thing? When we were in line to get shots for like two hours, my brother had this song on his iPod and he let me listen. I just remebered this song now and looked it up, and GUESSWHATILOVEIT.
Am I the only one who thinks that someone could honestly make a logically-moving musical using only Streetlight Manifesto songs? I'm not sure whether this song would be part of the end, or the middle of the first act, th- *shot for rambling*
the beginning of this song reminds me so much of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and then it goes into something like nothing before and then it becomes completely Streetlight. Awesome song. :P
@helldemon618 they are touring with reel big fish atm idk if they are heading near you but I mean just tryin to help a bruddah out cus it would be killer to see them
@ABetterYesterday That really is an awesome idea. I might want to do that too. The only problem is where to write it? and how big would the letters be?
@Conchobear Well, if the shoes are white, and if they're like, hi-tops or something, you can write the words on the outer ankle parts. Haha. Or, alternatively, on the toe part of the shoes.
@ABetterYesterday How about you write "The Gas" on the bottom of one shoe and "The Grave" on the side of the other? Just so it's a little bit more clever.
@ABetterYesterday white canvas shoes at walmart: $4.99. assorted fabric markers $9.99. the look on my streetlight fan friends faces when they saw your idea on my feet... priceless
I've had many bands over the years in which I've deemed to be my "favorite" but not one as fucking amazing as Streetlight. I will surely be listening to these guys till I'm old and wrinkly, and I'll definitely be enjoying every minute of it.
Did anyone else catch what I'm pretty sure was a Radiohead reference in here? In the songwriting notes for SITB Tomas writes: "I left a very subtle reference to one of my favorite bands growing up" And "A detuned radio" is a line in the Radiohead song "Karma Police".
@DanielPunkSka quite honestly i've seen a lot of band live... and a lot of them we're ska band...and i can tell you that streetligth was probably one of the most intense show i went to...1 hour and an half without stoping... they played so many song... they where absolutly amazing.
once, i was in music class laughin at people with shit tastes, then my music teacher comes over n im all "damn this sucks you heard of streetlight manifesto??"
LOVE IT!...had a friend call it mexican punk, so i punched his gut and sent him to the bathroom with dinner comming out his mouth...stupid mother fucker xD
It really sucks that music like this isn't that big anymore. I've heard usually in schools, there are people who listen to Rap, then your Metal heads, and such and such. But my school, and comunitly in general is just a bunch of teeny boppers. Me and my bestfriend are the only people who listen to ska, like this. And get ridiculed for it. Oh well. Thomas Mutherfucking Kalnocky.
@mysshadow stay true to your shit....fuck the ridicule.....its just a fucked form of flattery....this is good music and if they dont like it they can go fuck themselves
It's like, as soon as I think I think "Oh this song will probably not sound as good as some others Streetlight has done," I listen to it and DAMN IT'S GOOD.
Continue being incredible Streetlight, we love ya!
@dragoondev Fuck you! And your thumbs up bullshit. Stop trying to get people to like you by you making a mediocre as fuck statement. Obviously we all like the trumpets, you're using it just to get a highest rated comment. I hope your kind fucking dies off.
@Dvividxx Stereotypically it would be any skateboarder, but there is no real name. Nor is there a name for a person who listens to rap besides trash, country besides redneck, pop besides douche, etc.

I feel fourth wave is going to end up being crack rock steady styled bands. Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, stupid stupid henchmen, Ect. It just hasn't gotten very big yet. Streetlight will just always be different. They're too good, :))
Please, just relax. Streetlight is a whole new band compare to catch 22. Well, ONE member, the singer came from catch 22 and also a fantastic song writer. But in case, in streetlight manifesto are every member a song writer and together they formed Streetlight.
