  • Nice video. One suggestion. When you mentioned about the camera sinking down, you could use a rock or some type of sinker. You could either put the rock or sinker in the bag, or perhaps tip it to or rubber band it to the outside.

  • tie*

  • don't you think you really old to let your hair grow ? haha

  • Gee I remember a time when someone told me "Hey aren't you a little young to let your hair grow long?"

It's part of living young in the first place. But I'm also in a rock and roll band, so I try to keep up appearances. Besides, I don't look nearly as cool with short hair.

    Thanks for noticing. :o)

  • oh... sry... didn't know about the band... but... rlx... I'm just saying... I also had a long hair... long time ago... keep up the work with your band ^^

  • No worries. It's a valid question.

My band is called SuperCrash! I've posted a few videos of ours on my channel lately.

  • can someone pleeeeease tell me like what the tips are or what the video is about because im experiencing the "We're sorry, this video is no longer available" routine. thanks!

  • Try again. It works for me.

  • what do you mean all i want is a brief summary of the video (but with detail)

  • Then watch the video! lol It's a long-winded way of saying just put your camcorder in a zip-lock baggie and hit record. I added a couple of safety measures, but they're really not needed if you have a reliable new baggie.

  • what type of safety features

(i really care about my camera)

  • I wrapped a towel around the camera, in the bag and after I sealed up the zip-lock, I put a hairband around the top of the bag. A rubber band will do. That way, if any water gets in through the zip-lock, it will have to work its way through a maze of crumbled up plastic, and if any water gets beyong that or from anywhere else in the bag, the towel will be there, wrapped around the camera, to intercept the water.

  • wow thank u sooooooooooooooooooo much u rock

  • thanks for the great tutorial - i will be using a towel and rubber ties for future underwater fun!

  • thats so cool!!

  • That was neat.

  • BTW, if you open the ziploc bag carefully a little bit on one end you can suck almost all the air out with your mouth quite easily.

  • Nuts! But very clever. :-)

  • Mime troupe? I need to get up-to-date with my french.

  • When I saw the title of this video I immediately thought: Ziploc bag! ROFL!

  • Wow! who would have thought that would have worked so well. What kind of camera do you have?

  • AlderDragon It's a Panasonic PVG S90, and I spent a lot of time choosing. It has some of the better features I want, that other cameras in it's price range don't, and even some features that more expensive ones don't. I already sent in a glowing review to Panasonic and Circuit City.

  • Cool

  • That awesome! It was fun to see my camera on camera. Great job. See you Monday.

    Peace

    Joe

  • What?? no half naked chicks in bikinis?? lol... seriously though, interesting little effort.

  • Pretty nifty and simple idea Joe! Worked great too.

  • Lmao.. so hillbillyish..

Something about this whole thing I find amusing..

"the only thing it is going to touch is the towel.. you see" LOL!

    NOT BAD JOE!

Purhaps a second camera would've been good, so we could see it floating..

  • lol
