can i use regular nail polish instead of acrylic paint?

Yes please try it I have always used acrylic paints but I believe nail polish will work as well Just have a fine tip on your brush.

SO SO CUTE!! Maybe I missed it, but are the orange, black and purple are NAIL POLISH colors? I think my daughter would LOVE doing this...but my hand shakes really bad also so it may end up looking like a BIG MARSHMALLOW...hahaha...still gonna give it a whirl. Dont be scared girlie... If you want to start over just wipe off before it hardens if it hardens  than take a nipper / or tweezers and pop it off . You can always practice on paper or something else 1st
