  • Please watch my video and offer as much advise or tips that you can. I really love your videos and I think you are. Fantastic gardener!! Please leave me a comment.. Thanks

  • I have been watching your video's for a long time now and hope to see you put more news up of the garden. This year I planted 20 feet of Pole Beans and also bought a Pressure Canner. Can you tell me what seasoning you used in your jars? Can't wait to start canning my Beans and Tomatoe's. Thanks for your video's, I just love them.

  • That's alot of canning! How long did that supply last your family? Thanks for posting.

  • I eventually canned about 60 quarts of green beans and we're still eating them. I got through the holidays taking green beans for the meals, and we've managed to eat at least a quart a week, and that should last into early summer. They really are good to eat!

  • I think I'd have to give away some of those beans rather than eat them all!! That's awesome that you were able to produce that much.

  • oh my god those look so yummy! there is NO GREENBEAN and i mean NO GREENBEAN better than fresh greenbeans!

  • Excellent suggestion. No pressure on the email!

  • Absolutely fantastic! I've got beans on the way, but they're still weeks away from first harvest. Some I haven't even planted yet! Nothing better than fresh beans from the garden! What variety of beans are those? And are they bush or pole beans?

  • Thanks. I agree about the taste of fresh green beans! We had enough left over for a fabulous meal. These are bush beans, and I think the variety is Blue Lake. I bought the seed at a farm/nursery, and the nice lady there recommended them for canning. I bought 3/4 lb of seed, and had a lot left over for next year.

  • Keep some on the happiest bushes and let them totally dry. Store those in zip-lock bags or mason jars. THAT can be your seed for next year. In a couple years, you'll have a variety that is acclimated to your area. I owe you an email....
