@steute2011 Israel only recently got this technology, Palestintean have been fighting Israel since 1917 before either side had more than small arms. Just because the Palestinteans don't use their funds on training a military or acquiring drones and other things doesn't make them any less of an army than the IDF. They have the will to fight, and do carry out opreations against Israel. Though in recent years its only been to fire rockets at Israeli civilians.

Just because the Palestinteans don't use their funds on training a military or acquiring drones and other things doesn't make them any less of an army than the IDF. They have the will to fight, and do carry out opreations against Israel. Though in recent years its only been to fire rockets at Israeli civilians.

The state should never have been established as a mandate and much less declared as a sovereign state. @IntractableJ The former needs to be taken with a grain of salt because it comes from the Israeli government itself. The latter occurred over a three week period, not a decade like the former. I'm American, so I react to terrorism the same way as if I were Israeli: "I have a solution; let's not give anyone a reason to hate us by occupying their country and killing them en masse. Let's just give that a try." All in the interest of peace, of course.

@IntractableJ OK, I won't bother to confirm your stats, but in any event, if hamASS would not hide weapons in kindergartens and civilian homes and buildings, then perhaps less ppl would get killed. Israel does not target civilians but it's hard to avoid them in the aforementioned situations. In addition, Israel is well known for warning pal;is in advance that specific building a will be destroyed due to weapons cached in them. Any bright ideas on how to do this any other way?

@Lagolop Yeah. Israel should pull back to their original borders and elevate their defenses there. They should accept a peace agreement that has been proffered and signed by all members of the UN other than the U.S. and Israel. They don't want peace, they want to expand. They want to expand and kill civilians that get in their way, then say that Hamas is at fault for storing their puny, near-harmless weapons there when often there aren't any weapons at all. It's a pretext only.

I'm interested in letting them decide their own fate. It's not a matter of letting the Palestinians decide Israel's fate; it's a matter of self-determination. At least you are being honest now. I adore evil in a Sadean sense, but it's not enjoyable if you have to be clandestine about it. Israel is eagerly licking its chops over its imperial prize.
