LOL at you morons complaining about this shuffle. The Ipod shuffle is not supposed to replace a full sized Ipod, its designed to run with. So because it needs to be small, of course its not going to have as much memory. You don't even need more than 2G unless you run a marathon every day. Its perfect for whats its designed for, if you don't like it, stick to the bigger versions.

I think its stupid they restrict you to having to use their crappy earphones... I had mine for a week before the left ear went out... My iPod (5g video) is great though I just think the design is stupid for the 3g shuffle. They should have kept the buttons on the iPod itself. And the voice over voice on the pc? Thats just ridiculous.

You can use you any earphones you want you just wont be able to change the song so what you do is plug in the Apple earphones with remote set to shuffle or the order you want and then set your volume turn it off wait 5 seconds and then plug in your earphones and turn it back on

What if i certainly in the mood for some Ozzy Ozburne and im currently listening to lil wayne. Will i have to listen through all my songs until i get their or have to unplug my earphones, put in the original ones. get to the song , take it out and put the ones i like back in?

Yes this ipod will not work for you if you like to change your songs around and want to use other heaadphones

For me I like all the songs on my shuffle so thats why I dont care I just plug and play and I never worry about changing the song

But for someone who likes to change song this ipod is not for them unless you dont mind apple earphones
