aah thank you :D my female is a tri colour and her siblings were pretty much all tri aswell, she's just had 7 puppies and no tri colour markings on them at all, i thought her gene would have been strong enough to give me some tri, the pups are only 2 weeks atm so im hoping to get a tri colour or two :D fingers crossed, she did however give me 2 chocolates ?? what a throw back !!

@69sexyLEGS Tri colour is a recessive gene - meaning both parents have to be carrying the tri colour gene for tri coloured puppies to be born - the dog most likely didn't carry the tri colour (breeding two tris together will only produce tri pups) - this is a great website for explaining the colours and the genes that produce them

@69sexyLEGS I think they showed just black and white when born, the brown came some weeks later. You can see in the video at 4 weeks. See Napoleon Juno windy day for grown up stage.

We kept Napoleon and Juno see - Napoleon and Juno -Windy day. Four went to friends in Switzerland and Douglas to a friend in Spain. All much loved and have changed the lives of their owners!
