@devesh288 the videos save in a folder that you choose to save it in. first you record the video and then when you have stopped recording a table will pop which is your documents, and then you choose where to save the file :), if this helps like :)

@TheStinkyskater that has just happened to me, for the first time. all i did was move my cursor pretty fast over the screen. you can just barely see your normal screen in between the flashes but in squares around your cursor. i just ended the [process] under the task manager. since i couldnt find it under open programs. its simply labeled as recorder in the process tab. hope this helps

@matmanig98 Look through the camstudio settings in region and select fullscreen for recording the whole screen or click fixed region then set a region size the it would be that size everytime you press record but in your case since you're new to camstudio, try fullscreen setting then learn the other setting, subscribe if this helped :P

I believe that the files are saved in the Temp subfolder (parent is Windows.) If you want to save the files to a specific directory, you can open Recorder.exe-->Options-->Progr­am Options-->Name of AVI file-->Ask for file name.

I think that you can also select a user specified directory inside Program Options-->Temporary directory for recording. However, since it mentions that it's temporary, it might be deleted after it's finished recording, but I'm not fully sure about that.

@annpar2009 When you press stop Camstudio should automatically ask you what you want name your AVI and you can change the location of the save from there. This is only if you have 'ask for file name' (or something similar) checked in Options, Program Options, and Name of AVI. You can also tell it to automatically save with the date and time as the file name, this is found in the same location, I've never used this option myself though.

Can someone help me, I'm trying to record, I've setup the program as showed here using the lossless codec. However the video length is shorter than the audio? Which de-sync's it badly. I can't even align the audio with the video as the video is way shorter and runs faster than the audio. Tnx
