Anyway, thank you SO MUCH for posting this! This miniseries isn't easy to find and I, along with a generation of people, LOVE IT! It's snowing right now, and work and school are called off. I loved spending a day with this show! Well, you know, me, my cats, and a 12-pack of beer. But whatever, I'm very happy you posted and thank you!

I get the whole "enact revenge on your husband and bitch alcoholic best friend" bit, but not the whole "embrace your kids for a perfunctory minute before pushing them aside in favor of some guy who you're in love with" bit. But whatever. Why did she scream "No!" when Greg was crashing? I'd be like, "YES!" unless he wanted to torture him more, which I understand.

Stephanie is merely stupid & naive! She ought to have them arrested long ago. What would be more tormenting than having that Gold-digger punk humiliated & be sent to jail along with his drunken bitch ho. And the most annoying thing, she seem to still have feelings for Greg after all. Naive stupid bitch. Wasted my time watching the film to the end. I would have loved to see this Greg's balls squashed with a sledge hammer! Director of this movie is as boring as his name sounds!

Thanks for posting this. You know, I grew up in Russia, and Return to Eden was one of the very first Western series shown on Soviet TV in the late 80s! For us it was a real revelation. As other posters have noted: the hair! the outfits! the glamour! the drama! It is so trashy yet so good. This is the first time I have watched it since I was 14, imagine that!

Oh gosh, Jilly wouldn't have shot Greg, untill he started to kiss "Tara", who he really loved. What a mean and totally in love woman and in sequel of 1986 she got meaner. Nice development of the character.

This is just outstanding. Return to Eden brought back so many memories. I haven't seen this in many years. I just want to say thank you so very much for all your time posting this miniseries. Not finding anything good on T.V. then browsing Youtube and this came along. You made me very happy. I will now check out your channel on a more regular basis, the next being the full version of Till We Meet Again (no pun intended, lol)

I agree with mastmedia that they don't do soaps like that anymore. This was really a classy one. The acting was very good (which is often not the case in such productions), especially by R. Gilling and J. Smilie.

It had very touching moments, e.g. when Dan tells Stephanie's children that their mother is alive, or when Steph greets her kinds and Dan.

And James Reyne was a hottie! It's a shame he didn't pursuit an acting career too!

Greg, that poor bastard. But, I guess it's the only way to fly. I seriously thought she was going to bitch slap Jilly after taking the gun. Stephanie's the most gracious vegence seeker I've ever seen.

But this was a great treat. They still knew how to tell a story in the 80's. Even if it was over-the-top glam. It was time that can never be recaptured. Great fun!
