  • Simply Magnificent

  • Ahhhhhhhh! ^_^

  • Great job by both!

I used to play this on the organ many years ago. I think you both play it better than I ever did.

  • I personally liked Angeni's piece better. But kudos for Arthur for playing such a hard piece at his young and tender age. Keep it up!

  • Magnifique interprétation

  • what a priceless supportive suggestions ... there are other pieces that they want to play the duet, but lack of the ability to manage the arrangement. Maybe it'll come in time, I hope.

  • Nice one! Very talented. =D keep it up! ♥

  • beautiful

  • Thank you Arthur and Angeni! I like your song a lot.

  • Nice to see you both playing the same piece. It's wonderful! 5 stars!

  • That was just lovely! Thank you for posting this, it's one of my alltime favorite musicals!

  • "You are blessed to have each other!" Thank you, Benjamin, for such delightful words!

  • Thank you, Bill!

  • I love this song. Both of you played great. I have a suggestion: When I see what you are playing, you are playing mostly on the lower half of the piano. Perhaps, you can compose some harmonies on the upper half of the piano (higher octaves) and make this a piece for 4 hands. Since this is not a "classical" piece, you probably have the liberty to modify/add.

  • Thank you very much for your suggestion, Abhik and parents! This piece is a piano accompaniment, that's why you see it's mostly played at lower octaves. It'd be easy for them to arrange the duet by just playing the voice notes ... according to the few duet they have learned, it'd not be satisfying :) they want something better than just that but they have the limit to arrange it as good as other duet they have played. It's a good point, and they have tried, not successfully ;(

  • Wonderful! Five stars! (*^^*)

  • Thank you, pianogirl4ever! :)

  • angeni , tu es magnifique !!!

  • génial arthur !!! j'adore cette chanson !!! merci merci merci ♥♥♥

  • You are both such accomplished and confident performers. The opportunity to play show tunes must be a nice change of pace and a fun addition to your repertoire.

  • 2 nice performances.5*

  • Wow! How much fun it is to play this beautiful song! This is wonderful, Arthur and Angeni!

Vivian said that you were lucky that your teacher gave you beautiful songs like this to play!

  • Hi Linda and Vivian, thanks! They like this piece really much. Only thing that is not satisfying is that they still can't work out a nice duet with what they have right now ... hope they'll work out some courage to try more, like your two gifted young composers ;-)

  • Arthur and Angeni you both played this old classic very well. I enjoyed it very much. I have the old film on CD with Julie Andrews. My Dad told me he watched that when he was a kid, so it has been popular for a long time. Anyhow. Great work.

    In tune

    Lalita

  • You are lucky, Lalita! For Angeni and Arthur, they'll still have to wait till we found the DVD of this movie before they can watch...they watch a few clips on youtube, and loved it so much, especially that 'Do Re Mi" :)

  • Both of you sound terrific! Great job to both!

  • this kid is a natural!!!

  • I am sure you feel it when you play this piece. ... Arthur and Angeni. Have a wonderful spring break. And I am looking forward to seeing your next video!

  • Thank you, Annie and Cissy! The same to you two!! :)
