  • the drummer behind Rudy Vallee is easily recognizable from clip to clip. Lol, I'm curious now: who was he, what happened to him, does he have descendants?

  • That's a very sad song. Waaahhh!

  • Thank you so much for this upload !

Fantastic , I can hear my Grandfathers farm kitchen .

  • Grandioso. muchas gracias por compartirlo.

  • When music was music and love was love.

  • Loved w3atching Rudy "LIVE"

  • I believe Rudy is the Prince of Old Time Romantic Love Songs. I love watching him sing as much as listening to him. I feel I can see the empathy, compassion, and close relationship with the lyrics in his every move.

Thanks for the contribution... it's a big Favorite...

  • I could listen to this kind of music all night long.

  • Very Nice!

  • Actually this is Vallee's little band from Yale University and filmed in 1927.

  • How great to see Romantic Rudy singing.

    Thank you so much.

  • gracias, es una muy buena cancion, con un gran sonido, gracias.

  • how do i go about getting a copy of this? jamie

  • What a great tune! I'm surprised some of the modern purveyors of this type of music like Max Raabe and The Palast Orchester haven't covered it.

  • Wonderful. That was an marvelous time, when all was different. Good armony, nice melody, pretty lyrics, good musicians, good voice with sensibility, feeling, a certain sadness and much heart. How much one would give for stay and share only some fews minutes of that show, of that epoc? How much many of us would give to bring to our time someone similar to the unforgettable Rudy Vallée and his Connecticuts? OK, Harry Connicks Jr. is a great crooner, but I'm saying about "just another memory"

  • That night beneath the stars When all the world was ours Is just another memory The smile upon your face The thrill of your embrace Is just another memory. Every dream was just a precious token 'til I knew that all your vows were easily broken Like a withered rose My book of love I close You're just another memory.
