@worldsno1drwhofan Ray is not drunk, he's just being himself, or rather: trying to find himself. I mean, in 1965 he was a very shy man in front of a new famous band. IMO that's why Ray's so adorably awkward in this and many others videos.

Hadn't seem this one before. I guess the Hullabaloo producers must have made the band sit down to keep them from shaking their hips suggestively and giving young women indecent thoughts. They certainly don't look comfortable. Strangely there don't seem to have been any such moral constraintson the Hullabaloo female dancers. I guess the pious ones who decided such things were probably all male.
