Could you tell me the cheapest way to get there... I want to go from Tallinn, Riga or Stockholm but I cannot find any way to spend less than 250 euros only for travel
If you mean travel to Tromsø then you can take a train from Stockholm straight to Narvik( a city in north norway, three hours from Tromsø) Then from there you can take the but to Tromsø.
The nature around Tromsø and the situation is thrilling, but if one discusses architecture, organizing of the city mass, infrastructure - Tromsø is messy, ugly and dirty. This has to do with to much traffic expanding over the last years - and a rather small and narrow centrum. Unfortunately a lot of new buildings for the private marked has been smashed up lately and prevent people to walk along the seaside and actually see the ocean!
I agree that the achitecture isnt much to brag about, and i think the city planners will have to face critic. They have been inspired by the trends of time with no big-picture-plan. But I love my hometown, although I don't live there anymore...

To whatever faggot: I was born there in 1976. Moved to Harstad in 1983 and moved to Denmark in 1993 and then to Holland in 2003.
Never looked back but had the unfortune of being in there in 1995, 1997 and 2006.
