  • 1st gen explorers have loww clearince and like 0 flex

  • wheres the chevy at? it'll show you how its done

  • the first gen explorers (1990-1994) have limited slip rear differentials and a fiber glass rear diff cover. I know because I own one. Theyre amazing off road. theyre not givin enough credit where credit is due.

  • the explorer broke his auto locker thats the real fast clicking sound you here when he is smokin his tires mine did the same thing

  • Just get a full size bronco. they're easy to work on, and cheap to lift.

  • you asshats can barely make it up that first little baby hill and yet a 2x4 explorer that presumably made it up there with more ease than you isn't meant to be taken offroad. take your toyotas and hold up the line at the car wash that's all you're good for. i'm surprised those baby 4runners even had enough weight to pull out the ex.

  • Please tell me how the first gen Explorers werent meant for offroading?

  • Nice vid...That 2wd explorer did amazing! It must have been the fact that it comes stock with a Limited slip Diff compared to your foreign setups.

  • it was a 2 wheel drive explorer

  • wanna-be truck owner. Same for the people with s-10's or chevy avalanches... Wanna be a boss? How bout u get a real fuckin truck.

  • Suck a dick fag. Lets see your piece of shit you call a truck? Half these SUV's can out perform your "real truck" any day.

  • Chevy avalanche.......dude that thing was disigned to be used on high ways look at all the cladding they came with, if you want to talk about a real truck try the Silvarado lol. sorry but to make an avalanch perform well offroad they have to be lifted or else they tear up easy, been there done it.

  • ford never was reliable

  • wow your an idiot lol.....FOrd trucks are very reliable I ahve owned both ford and chevy and chevys will run circles on the highway but when it comes to offroad Ford trucks are tough. Funny thing is I Know for a fact my 4wd Explorer would run cirlces around all 3 of those offroad. And Another thing...what the hell were you guys doing with 2wd rigs in the mud any ways? WTF I meen come on now NO 2wd rig was ment for mud.

  • hey dumbass the ford was a 2 wheel drive

  • you dumbasses would get stuck on your cement driveway..

  • the only reason why it got stuck was it was a FORD. damn you are a retard.

  • not it got stuck cuz it 2 wheel drive u fucking idiot

  • exactly, you can't expect a RWD truck do drive through mud like a 4WD, and that piece of shit he was driving wouldn't have stood a chanve against a Ford Explorer 4WD.

  • thank you, someone whos not a dumb fuck.

  • i know i mean that truck looks like it doesn't have any type of rear differential. it should have had lockers

  • should know better then to put an exloder onthe trail

  • wow dude cant drive. my ranger kills shit like that in 2wd with no weight

  • i have an explorer and he shouldent of taken it off roading if he only has 2wd or he should of turned the 4wd on. when mine is in 4wd it's a tank

  • You need positrac for them bumps and hills.

  • LMFAO .... i love footage of stuck Fords. Makes me appreciate my Jeep.

  • do you also appreciate the fact that you have to do after market work on a jeep to not make it look like a piece of shit?

  • Here's why people think that expos don't belong off road. When you're runnin' stock 235/75/R15 street slicks, bad things happen. I bought a cheap set of Wild Country M/T 31x10.50's for my 93 XLT and swapped the front diff for a stronger posi front, changed out the auto hubs for Warn manuals, and there really isn't too much that I can't do.

  • Could have beeb any number of things with the expo. Hubs might not have engaged, motor on the transfer case might not have been working right (out of alignment, brushes got shaken loose or the buffer in the motor may have been lodged in the motor) or the front dif might have been shot. Of course there's always the possibility that the idiot might not have actually put it in 4WD.

  • My 91' Explorer came stock with 4 wheel drive and low range. I've taken it up some pretty gnarly climbs, everything stock.

Not the most rugged thing out there, but it does just fine off road.

  • explorers do just fine offroad with good drivers...

  • ...well i take that back. looks like its 2wd (if it was i wouldent take it offroading) if its got 4WD he musta not turned it on or somethin

  • LOL they say they pulled out the ford explorer but if you watch the video the rope (or whatever) is slack the whole time! meaning they didnt pull it out the guy who was driving just gave it some gas and it got out on its own

  • with those road tires a little nudge pulls better than a slipping wheel. you could get up behind that and probably push it out

  • its hard to tell with the explorer...it could be as simple as the auto hub not engaging or the clutches in the diff r burnt (assuming it has limited slip) im not ruling out 2wd just saying because there isnt any good angles to see if the other tire was turning or not....on the other hand its looks a little low in the front...but by the color its an eddie baur and those usually have every option including 4wd

  • this guy in the explorer ....duh its not even a 4x4 did pretty well

  • the stuck explorer is not even in 4 wheel drive, get a better driver

  • or, perhaps it doesn't have 4x4, shit brain.

  • the explorer is not a 4x4... or wasn't turn on.

  • W E A K

  • You know, a 1946 LandRover defender would do that piece of piss, what the hell is with all this offroaders only designed for gravel drives nad speed bumps?

  • lol, nice attempt but this was weak.

  • lol i thought that ticking was that nissan that has nearly zero axle articulation! and then you guys bash the ford.. haha

  • Sorry, but here in Colombia Ford's are just crap, they are bad quality cars and they are not off road vehicles, no matter what year they are. Buy a Land Rover or a Toyota, Nissan, anything is better

  • don't confuse old fords with new fords

  • great sound track

  • well the explorer cant be that bad... after all made it right up that hill you took 4 tries to do

  • Is the guy in the 4runner you, cause if so shut the fuck up, dont be dissing no ford explorer, you couldnt even climb that little hill in a fuckin 4runner one of many amazin stock vehicles, so if anyones pathetic its your sorry ass

  • i dont belive that a ford explore cant mudd email me if u dont belive budd just to let you know mine is almost compltley stock

  • O ya that guy had some cherry may pop tires on that crap with no traction and that limited slip would have caused the front 2 tires to lock into 4wd and pull his gay ass out.

  • that 94 piece of shit expo didnt have limited slip traction and a weak 4.0 pushrod. my stock 01 could handle that weak shit np. where is this at i might have to go there and make u all look like ass clowns.

  • It was 4 wheel drive, the kid driving it didnt know what he was doing but its still pathetic. I tried to get stuck in the same spot with only 2 wheel drive on and couldnt even when i stomped on the gas. Ive never seen an explorer offroading rig either. Show me a ford explorer offroading.

  • ford explorers are meant for offroading but u had the regular 2 wheel drive without probly most of its off roading features.
