  • Love his laugh at 4:25 :D

  • Kaneshi, come 2 America, pleaseeee...! ill pay 4 ur ticket! whom ever represents him, PLEASE bring him 2 America... he has fans here 2 that would want 2 meet him! its 2 expensive 4 us regular people to fly 2 Asia... He seems so charming n sweet: hopefully he is truly like that i real person!

  • he is soooooooooooooooooo beautifull and radiates Love.....impossible to not love him!!!

  • is he single

  • is he single

  • The man is nothing short of amazing. Beautiful throughout. He does not only radiate physical and intellectual elegance but does it in such an unassuming, coy manner that you cannnot help but simply admire and love him. Take-i.... you're a gem of a person!!!

  • me too, I'd prefer that beautiful movie to be in japanese, in english is just anticlimatic, is that so hard to read subtitles for people, that they can't stand to watch a movie in a foreign language?

  • @johnnyrose666 I agree. I think if its japanese or about japanese they should use sub titles no voice dubbing. It goes with all foreign film.

  • takeshi is so dashingly handsome whether sitting, talking, and especially *smiling*...the other thing is that this interview shows how humble he is, he's also so talented, hope to see more movies of him in the future :)

  • Beautiful inside and out....so glad to hear him speak English. His understanding of Hugh's questions is brilliant really. Thanks for uploading.

  • His english did get better. I am not talking about like over the years but during this interview. One more thing. I like how he pretty much said he would not want to go to hollywood because basically everyone in america thinks that every asian know kung fu but he put it in such a nice way.

  • his english got betterr

  • he is half japanese and half chinese and his personality is very introverted.I like this shy hottie

  • yeah he is introverted and i LIKE THAT!!!

  • This is one of my favorite videos of Takeshi, because we get to know how gorgeous he is from the inside and out. The whole interview is priceless. Thank you sooo much!!!

  • Being from a non-English speaking country myself, it's perfectly normal for me to watch movies with subtitles, so it's not like "the film was good even though it had subtitles". And it doesn't matter what language they speak in it, so Takeshi in an Asian film is as good as in an English-speaking film. I can't understand people to whom subtitles are a problem, really! :)

  • this' been one of asian actor who speaks fluent english. eventhough he's not comfortable to jump into hollywood biz still it'd be good to see him go broader sense one day. it's a very good improvement years after years.

  • i love his smile---he's is so drop dead gorgeous!!!!!! i love you takeshi

  • Haha...I remember one of the first movies I saw him in was a Chinese mermaid movie many many years ago but I thought Ekin Cheng was hotter...lol...of course now I'd take Takeshi over Ekin any day...I love how talented he is and I'm glad he's so successful...I wish him more success with each role he plays!!!

  • I am not chinese neither white.I am hispanic but I think Kaneshiro is way good looking and nice personality too. I wish there be more japanese men in usa

  • thanks for sharing these clips!

  • The point of the differences in between Asia and hollywood really touches on a point i dont speak a word of japenese etc but they're storylines are moving and enjoyable to watch even in subtitles for myself

  • i do agree with him.....

memoirs of geisha should be in japanese and it would be much better

its like watching dubbed anime....very odd

they should take note from mel gibson

  • the thing is, there are no japanese actress that can speak enough english to play the roles, whereas those chinese actresses are established in hollywood and can speak english, therefore they got the roles instead

  • he's hot... and talented and speaks good english as well as mandarin, taiwanese, cantonese and japanese, ye he is perfect

  • it's true that in hollywood, asian roles are limited but i also think that it's up to (us) asians to expand the type of roles there is and will be.

newho, damn he is so good looking. he has a boyish yet manly look about him. i love his deep and clear voice. i love his eyes and thick eyebrows. i especially love his smile that makes his face open and brightens up.

  • @hnubno I think most americans should sit in front of their tv and be made to watch asiam film. I am american and I think asian films are so much better. I am a huge fan of Disrectors like kurosawa etc. Takeshi is one of my favorite actors.

  • I watched all three parts of Kaneshiro's interview -- thank you for uploading the interview; it was very interesting :)

(I am surprised how well Kaneshiro speaks English).

I was not familiar with "Perhaps Love" before -- I love musicals and this movie looks great, I will make sure to watch it in the near future.

  • I watched Perhaps Love in Beijing end of 2005 and even though I don't understand much Chinese I was impressed by the movie since it shows much of chinese life, living and also places in Beijing I've been. I've also been in Wuhan (Hubei). China is very interesting.

  • my ancestors are from Hubei! but i was born in Taiwan . and i live in Australia. one of my hugest regrets is giving up Mandarin lessons. Takeshi's a form of inspiration for many! Not only is he immensely dashing, brave and graceful, he speaks 4 languages. one day he'll become as big an icon as his own role models.
