Speaking of Mr. Spock's obvious observations, he's always stating the obvious. Which is why I couldn't stand this part of the game because of Spock having to tell me several times that "The field is absorbing the energy".

Typos happen. In fact, sometimes in older adventure games the subtitles don't match the spoken dialogue because someone either forgot to proofread or because the actors went slightly off script.

@robikz it does exists, somewhere on the left of the door, when you arive from the transporter room, you can draw a vertical line from kirk's head to the top of the screen, the point is somewhere on that line on the wall closer to the ground than to the door top(something like 1/3 or 1/4 of the door's height)
