  • I have done this a number of times too. It can be very beneficial.

  • Excellent drill used it a number of times just when the lads thought they had got hold of it I put another ball into the equation with excellent results.

  • would have been a great drill for me if my coach actually told us the whole purpose of this drill lol

  • really good drill once you get a hold of it.

  • This is a great drill. Lots of fun for the kids. We make a game of it. Every time they successfully switch the ball from Zone 1 to Zone 2 they get a point. For the dude that's confused below, think of it like volleyball and the neutral zone is the net...you get 3 passes between your own team before you clear it over the net.

  • ive done this before it is a very good drill

  • it is 2 teams, the attacking team and the defending team, very good drill for getting used to opening your self up and assisting players with the ball

  • I prefer to do this with 3 players in each END ZONE with only 2 DEF in the middle. Only 1 push and apply preasure, 3 ATT players should be working in TRIANGLES. The SPARE DEF should always be covering the opposite side of the field that the DEEP DEF is applying pressure. So when the DEEP player is PUSHING/PRESSING in the right corner of one of the zones then the SUPPORTING DEF then covers the LEFT. The SUPPORTING player can only leave the CENTRAL zone when the DEEP PLAYER RETURN.

  • wtf is this
