Sometimes you reallyjust don't get the pattern even though its quite obvious. The crystal was glowing earlier so they made it quite obvious that u have to do something with it. The first time u were behind him you should have taken it.

They also don't have wings sometimes, Dragons are bigger & have Breath Skills Like Ice breath ETC.

Wyverns are sometimes known as lesser dragons. They're Draconic creatures but I don't think they're classified as full-blown dragons
