Hey dave,

First off id like to thank you for putting up these videos. Theyre very helpful and you sound great!

I had a bit of a question for you,

Im looking into selling my 5150 212 combo, its not nearly as versatile as i need it to be. Im very much looking into a Classic 50 4x10 combo. I just wanted to know if this would get me near Steve Vai's clean tone in "Tender surrender" and rhythm ala "Bad Horsie" and his general lead tone.

Maby with an EQ?

@MichaelLozano12 yeah, it will defiantly get you tender surrender. Bad horsie might require a pedal but its a very versatile amp, great starting point to add things to.

Two nice equipment demos.

Personally, I find that the problem with a pedal with a mid-sweep is that it always sounds "better" the more that you scoop and wooly when you put it back. The Marshal Shredmaster is an example of a pedal that I can't stand the sound of with the mids put back in. Maybe that's just me.
