daft question but who was the XI legion? in one of the horus herasy books he makes reference to a capsule containing the XI primarch who never returns so i'm wondering which legion had no primach
@Referee001uk There were 2 Legions whose Primarch either was never recovered, or all records of which were purged. No one knows the truth as to why those Primarchs and their Legions are missing. Officially, Gamesworkshop did it to give players more freedom in creating their Space Marine armies, ie claim descent from one of those missing legions.

actually the IW don't either, aside from Perturabo becomnig a daemon prince there is very little mutatino in their legion, they are just walknig suits of armour, merciless and daemonic but there is no physical changes to them, heck even the alpha legino have mutated me than them. or parts of them have, some parts of the alpha legion have turned evil and soem have remained loyal (supposedly)
@IDyce88 Afaik they actually do mutate a lot. But unlike other Legions IWs dont appreciate that. They despise the weakness of human flesh even more for that fact. And they remove mutations tu substitute those parts of their bodies with even more lethal badass bionics :)

Honsou, equally, just rocks. Kick him down, the persistent mother-fucker just gets back up again. I'd like to see him go toe-to-toe with high-ranking Space Marine Loyalist Officers. He'd suit a one-on-one dual with Grimnar. I doubt he'd win, but it'd be one hell of a table-top fight.

Then again, Uriel has taken on quite a lot; he did defeat the Nightbringer, and a Tyranid Splinter fleet queen, and a few hundred Chaos Marines and the weird daemon thing in Honsou's fortress, and then he defeated a bunch of cultists and unfleshed, and then a Tau expeditionary force, and then the Chapter's Due he went ape-shit on the Chaos lot. He's a fairly tough ol' nut. Point is, Honsou just keeps getting back up. :P

@TheM6A2 You've not read The Killing Ground; have you? :P That's the book after Dead Sky Black Sun and it proceeds Courage and Honour. In The Killing Ground, the unfleshed travel with Uriel and Pasanius to a planet (I forget the name) and at the end, they become possessed. The Grey Knights, Uriel and Pasanius all fight and kill them. Just before he is given final rights be Uriel, the Lord of the Unfleshed (who is just a child) turns back into his child consciousness. And then Uriel kills him.
It's also a Theory that the Alpha Legion do not worship chaos, so much as use it....Alpharius believing that the Emperor would be responsible for the Doom of the Imperium............They might be part of the biggest Ruse, ever seen.

i have 27 chaos space marines, 10 black legion, 10 red i think apostles of minthras or world eaters but idk and 7 plague marines, can i switch to iron warriors by painting over or keep as black legion with a death guard platoon?
you can unless the red ones are really berzerkerz models.If they look like your BL guys,then it is alright. Just paint them Boltgun metal,wash it with badab black,add yellow n black trims on weapons and there you go :o)
U can paint over them, but it can be a pain to do, if they are painted well, I would just paint the shoulder pads in iron warrior colours, after all they all have a similar goal CRUSH THE FALSE EMPEROR
i think w/ black leion being Chaos Undivided, it would be plausible to have a Death Guard Platoon. I, however, have not played the tabletop so I don't know for sure. But It'd be badass.

@Tagabat would also add that they do use daemons, but in the normal sene that most of the other chaos marines use them, like just summoning them and letting them loose on the enemy, its more like "we built such a huge cannon that vehicles that move it werent strong enough on their own, so we enslaved some daemons and bound them to said vehicles. :D"

@ryan0666 Basically they are not as much corrupted as the other traitor legions...nevertheless Horus used their resentment of being spread thinly throught the Imperium as garrison forces and their hatred of the Imperial Fists legion...Perturabo was the most bitter and spiteful of all Primarchs so it was not that hard for Horus to twist him

@ryan0666 After Horus had decided to betray the Emperor, Horus came to many of the Primarchs closest to him. Primarch Perturabo was one of them. He promised him power. The Iron Warrior legion was branded as traitors, and they now fight against the Imperium from their Fortress in the Eye of Terror, called Medrengard.

good job,interesting music, IMO heavy metal is better music for IW , for example Black Babbath or Metallica ( i know the groups are not Heavymetal but they sounds heavy :-p)

i have 27 chaos space marines, 10 black legion, 10 red i think apostles of minthras or world eaters but idk and 7 plague marines, can i switch to iron warriors by painting over or keep as black legion with a death guard platoon?

you can unless the red ones are really berzerkerz models.If they look like your BL guys,then it is alright. Just paint them Boltgun metal,wash it with badab black,add yellow n black trims on weapons and there you go :o)

U can paint over them, but it can be a pain to do, if they are painted well, I would just paint the shoulder pads in iron warrior colours, after all they all have a similar goal CRUSH THE FALSE EMPEROR

i think w/ black leion being Chaos Undivided, it would be plausible to have a Death Guard Platoon. I, however, have not played the tabletop so I don't know for sure. But It'd be badass.

@SaintMarneusCalgar: Don´t know either. Do you have that from Games Workshop? They pretty mess up Latin all the time. Ferrea is female. Anyways, "in" qould require "Ablativ" here, so
"Ferreus in spiritu. Ferreus in corpore" would be the correct latin sentence talking of males. I forgot that casus question over thinking about the gender^^ But its good enough to understand it anyway amd more than most people could do ;)

Normalerweise steht nach "in" als Positionsangabe der Ablativ oder Dativ (tendiere zu Ablativ), was optisch ja aufs gleiche hinausläuft^^
Außerdem sagt der Papst ja immer "in spiritu sanctu" im Fernsehen.
"Ferrea In Spiritus. Ferrea In Corpus" könnte ich mir in nem mittellateinischen Text allerdings gut vorstellen. Die sind da meistens nicht so streng :p

who needs daemons and sorcery if you have a lot of big guns and superheavy tanks? Not even the imperial fists were capable to defend the imperial palace against the iron warriors.

@Tagabat would also add that they do use daemons, but in the normal sene that most of the other chaos marines use them, like just summoning them and letting them loose on the enemy, its more like "we built such a huge cannon that vehicles that move it werent strong enough on their own, so we enslaved some daemons and bound them to said vehicles. :D"
