A coming of age film that shows the real pain and confusion of growing up as an outsider.

I thought the movie had a lot to say, but was handled in a very sloppy amature style, which didn't do it's self any great favours, especially in this modern age of cinema.

I own Eraserhead. I think David Lynch would find this a good film himself. The film is nothing like a normal film. Just like many of David Lynch's films if you've seen his other work other than Eraserhead. Try Inland Empire.

I think it was destined that I saw this movie, last night like at 1:03 am, my alarm went off for no reason. Then my mom told me to get up for school. I was just confused, she fell back asleep lol.

Then I looked at the tv screen(we keep our tv on all night)and this was on. It looked cool so I start watching it, and I didn't go to bed 'til it went off at 2:20 am, and this was a school night. I wish I could've seen the whole thing, hopefully IFC will re-show it later =]

i saw this last night. i fell in love with it. i even cried at the end because i simply dident want it to end. it was so genius and thrilling. and i guess thats what kept my attention. im only 13, and this movie hit me in such an adult way. i loved it.

I am really glad i saw this movie. I was worried i wouldn't like it because i usually hate every gus van sant movie i see. I really loved this movie. It shows you something that every gay boy out there wanted to do when they were 13 but never had the balls to do. Yeah it might have been some eye candy but it wouldn't have been as interesting if the boy wasn't cute. I was convinced he was gay. and on top of that Faruza Balk was the mom, hell yeah.
