So hey, i bought Geometry wars on steam as i heard it has a tracking system so you can compete against your friends and see who can get the highest score. unfortunatly, it wont track with my friends who also bought the game and are on steam... any idea why? my intiall thought was that cos its a console game, id have to get it on xbox live for it to track with my friends.. but why shouldnt it work for it on PC? Could it be cos its over steam and it might not have the tracking system for the game?

This game, in my opinion is a great way to pass the time when waiting for DLC downloads. I bought this game first and then played it through the download time of Annihilation. A dowload that usually takes forever in my xbox seemed like minutes when playing this game. And for only 400 MP, its a must have

However,i f you have a Wii, and you want a VERY replayable Geometry Wars, Galaxies would be, by far, my favorite. It has a drone that gives you alot of XP, alot of Galaxies with multiple planets (levels) each, and a currency system. It also includes the original Retro Evolved :-)

A modern day version of a Vectrex game. I have this for Wii and it looks the same as this Xbox version. Finding this game for the Wii was a little difficult for some reason. Fun and addicting.

Okay, here's some tricks: You must always shoot where you're going to go, and then follow the cleared path. Most enemies are slower than you, so the huge mob after you is not very dangerous. Faster enemies have a lot of momentum, so always change direction slightly, they won't hit you. When you get attacked by blue triangles, keep shooting in one direction and try to fly through the hole in their formation you just made. Don't bomb if you have low multiplier, you get more extra lives than bombs.

Super Stardust HD or Every Day Shooter are both good. Every Day Shooter does not have trophies, but it has a cool looking style and great music. Super Stardust HD is definitely better than both Every Day Shooter and Geometry Wars, it has splitscreen coop, online versus, the arcade mode has stages with end bosses. I definitely would say go with Super Stardust HD if you got the money for it and the add-on dlc.
