If they were smart they would have made this into a anime I'd gladly pay a hundred or so dollars just to have this in my anime collection whether dubbed or subbed. They did make a real crapy anime called Suikoden but it isn't based on any of the games and it stinks.

@eiri03 And one other thing to add onto my private message: If it were Tir, why would he randomly be spinning and falling through darkness?  That never happens in any of the games. On the contrary, this sequence shows Futch falling, Black getting blasted, and then Futch crying over his loss. It's all a single sequence.

@chaosthethird u can see from a mile away that it's Tir McDohl falling from some cliff or smth, and not Black (btw. if i recall correctly, Black was under Futch after the shot in order to ease the fall for Futch... so Futch, who was KOd after the shot, reaching up theory would be incorrect)

p.s. even Wikipedia says that TIr makes a cameo appearance in Suikogaiden 2

A fantastic opening, and I loved this version of "The outskirts of Tinto Town", it was my favorite song of Suikoden series, and fitted perfectly on this opening.

I really want that Suikoden VI takes place after Suikoden III, and I really wanna see Nash, Sierra Mikain, Futch, Lilly Pendragon, Yuber and Sasarai again, they are some of my favorite characters.

One of my favorite series even though i never played the gaidens due the non translated release.

I'm actualy very fond of Suiko 3, i kinda liked the way they put back the old characters but several years older, like Futch becoming a wanderer with humphery's sword, along the talking sword being back even though flik and Viktor didnt make an apearence.

suikoden 1-2 are two of the best rpg's ever made. the whole suiko-world is fantastic. then they made suikoden 3 and 4 and allmost killed the series, for me at least. with the fifth their getting back on track. keepin it simple but with nice plot and cool characters and sidegames. I hope nr. 6 will be either about Clive or Nash or at least involve them more, plus the series has never been about killer graphics. could be fun with a toonshaded version or maybe even keepin it 2D.

Suikoden II is definitely the best. There are minor problems with the translation from Japanese to English, but it's still playable and it's still amazing.

The theme music sounds like a remix version of the Tinto/Crom/Drakemouth/Tigermou­th theme during Suikoden II.

It's too bad they didn't make an American version of the gaidens.

I played suikoden 1,2,4 and suikoden 5 and I think that suikoden 2 it's the best ever, the suiko 5 =P I love suikoden saga it's so exciting to discover the stars and to follow the histories of the characters, ( is not the case of suiko 4 -___- XDDDD)

Anime blows. It's completely different from the storyline of the game.

Anyways, Suikogaiden 2 take place 3 years after suikoden 2.. You will meet alot of familar faces including Riou, Nanami, and Jowy(who are together). Also you can glimpse Tir Mcdohl with Kasumi.

Suikoden 5 is NOT 6 years before suikoden 1 as Gerog Prime is 29 suikoden V. In Suikoden II he is 41 and if Suikoden 1 was 3 years before suikoden 2 then that means that Suikoden V is about 9 years before suikoden 1. Thought I would clear it up.
