For anyone interested, you can still order at least one of their cd's. I never saw the show but someone loaned me their Mainly Mother Goose as a daycare teacher and I LOVED it!
I was lucky enough to have parents who recorded most of the episodes on tape, about 4 years ago dad put them all onto DVD so my children can enjoy them as much as I did from about the age of three. there are about 7-8 episodes on each disc and there are 6 discs. they start at 1984-1987 but this was the first time i've seen this episode
I used to be obssessed with this show when I was little! Until I looked it up on youtube, I only vaguely remembered this one and one where they build some kind of playhouse in their backyard, but they have a grumpy neighbor. I think Lois sang to him or something lol.
I remember seeing them perform for the 1st time on Today's Special. They did a medley of folk songs on one episode and then they did a song or 2 on the rooftop of the store. Wish someone had video of them from that show when they played on the roof.
Oh my goodness! How have I never seen this episode! They were so top-quality, and looking back on it, I think I got my eclectic musical tastes from them.
Pedophiles? Um, probably not. I'm Canadian, and the last time I checked, every person I know is not addicted to meth or Coke, and never was. Clearly you are American and think that you are superior.
I just woke up and decided to have some leftover pizza for breakfast. That got me to thinking about the time Sharon and some of the kids sang about odd stuff for breakfast and I just had to look up the show on here. Thanks for posting! :)
I LOOOOOOOOVED THIS SHOOWW SOOOOOO MUUCH!!MAN!! i used to make sure i watched this shoe everytime it came on!!MAAAAN! the kids from the 2000>s are missing out soo much!
OMG I've been asking all of my friends if they remember this show but none of them do! I watched this show growing up! I've been teaching my 1 year old daughter the ending song. She loves it!
sorry its been a while I have a ton of more episodes but i'm at school, so when I get back hopefully I can upload some more. I have these episodes plus the three i uploaded -clean up -kensington market -dance school -beach show -duet show -grandma bessie's birthday -growing up (i think) -hospital -pet fair -newspaper -snow white elephant -an elephant never forgets -radio show -sibling rivalry -band on the run
oh my god i actually totally remember this episode! it's crazy how those memories get hidden in the back of your mind until you watch old videos on youtube!
So many memories!! <3 I watched this show as part of old Nick, Jr. I had no idea that they were on Today's Special... I just saw that when I looked them up on IMDB. That show is so hard to find, but now I must!
Hey I just saw Sharon and Bram live on tuesday....It rocked, they are still very cheerful and happy to talk to....Bram has grey hair and they look alot older but entertained us just the same.
I saw the videos from the Film Fest yesterday. I'm so thrilled to see them together on stage again. I used to watch them on episodes of Today's Special.
I watched this even more than Sesame Street as a kid. Does anyone remember that when the elephant was a "she" in the opening theme it was a new episode?
Few people remember this show. Use to love watching Elephant. Sharon Lois and Bram even had music albums that I'm just now finding out I use to listen to back in pre-school.
Ha ha, some of the kids are Canadian! I knew it :P

This is a great childhood memory along with many other TVO classics like "Shining Time Station", "Polka Dot Door" and my personal favorite "Join In!"...does anybody remember Join In?...if anybody have any join in post it...I would myself but I don't know how to upload from a video tape
I also have warm childhood memories of this show. I watched it on TVO along with other shows on the Crawlspace. And nicely enough, this was one of the moments of the show that I remembered, because I learned what the expression "to fire" someone meant. Classic.
ur all perverts this is the most perverted show i have ever seen in my life. this show reminds me of getting hit and beaten as a kid and they also used to starve me, lock me in the closet then play the elephant show this very episode over and over again please change ur ways.
My first song I ever made Skinerarinkydinkydink, my first concert was them live. My first figure skating performance was with one of their christmas tapes. I still have that, I bet. Just wondering- they still alive? If so, do they still perform?
Does anyone know if Nickelodeon is going to still make a classic nick channel? Rumor has it they are but that was back in late 2006/early 2007 they were replacing the GAS channel to classic nick channel?
I feel like I'm five years old again. I wish that Nickelodeon would make a classic channel of all of their earlier shows. All the way back to "Pinwheel."
I used to watch the Elephant Show on cable TV back when I lived in Kalamazoo. I enjoyed it, as I did recorded music of the famous Canadian trio. They're in their sixties and/or seventies now, but every now and then they still make music. I always loved the lively song called "Skinnamarink!" It was the bomb. I still sing it once in a while.
Me too - we used to sing the songs on the playground - I was always Lois and my friend played Sharon. Sometimes we would get a "ringer" to play Bram. :)
HAHAHAHA! I remember this episode lmao.

Good day
That quality of Childrens entertainment will likely never be equaled!
Their 1st LP released in 1978.
I kinda wish I was a little younger so I could have been the right age to watch!
I saw a few episodes with my Bro Jason when it was new on CBC on Sat. mornings.
I since bought their LP's & "Skinnamarink TV"
RIP Sharon...we miss you..

Based on this content, it's clear these "performers" are pedophiles.
Either that, or all Canadians are addicted to meth and coke at early ages.
