@AMpufnstuf Atheists use science to explain their beliefs, and that is fine. But science can be wrong, can be questioned. There is no other proof needed for christianity other than I just know. If you're an atheist, you don't understand, at least not yet, but i can just feel it in my heart that Jesus is with me. As for lying to children, even if God isn't real, His teachings still encourage love and charity. Is that so wrong?
@littlehamsterhammie I can't speak for all Christians, but I think that the reason God let's all these bad things happen because He alone can't stop it. He is not a physical being sitting on a cloud, he is inside everyone of us. He is love, compassion, sacrifice, charity, and everything good in the human heart. Once we embrace God, it is our duty as human beings to use these blessings He has given us to help others, and to spread the word of god.

@AMpufnstuf Atheists use science to explain their beliefs, and that is fine. But science can be wrong, can be questioned. There is no other proof needed for christianity other than I just know. If you're an atheist, you don't understand, at least not yet, but i can just feel it in my heart that Jesus is with me. As for lying to children, even if God isn't real, His teachings still encourage love and charity. Is that so wrong?

@littlehamsterhammie I can't speak for all Christians, but I think that the reason God let's all these bad things happen because He alone can't stop it. He is not a physical being sitting on a cloud, he is inside everyone of us. He is love, compassion, sacrifice, charity, and everything good in the human heart. Once we embrace God, it is our duty as human beings to use these blessings He has given us to help others, and to spread the word of god.

A popular idea of Satan or the Devil is that he is the ruler of the underworld/hell, that gets to punish people as much as he wants, and he always does so. This portrays him as punishing the bad, a good role. So why is he evil?

Parents have a wide selection of schools they want their child(ren) Ex. Public schools, Catholic Schools,Private Catholic Schools. And remember there isn't only Catholic schools there are also Muslim and Jewish schools. Abortion is murder and I honestly dont think murder is permitted in any religion.
