that's a regular corvette. not a z06. not a good comparison. that's a 100 horse difference. the z06 has 505, and if you watch the other videos, you will see who wins -> the z06. also, the viper has a v10, the z06 has a v8.

Ill use their own show as an example in the case of Z4 vs Viper the viper completely destroyed the z4 in acceleration but to them lost at handling yet was slower on their course then the z4. But in a same type of match up zonda vs Murc the murc was beaten by the zonda in acceleration but the Murc beat the zonda in handling hands down yet the zonda still beat the Murc becase of sheer speed and power. You wont be able to explain that other then they are biased so theres really no point in trying.

Like I said top gear is a biased TV show not based on fact. Regardless if the viper can handle or not the Z4 was going to beat the viper to get ratings. As I already pointed out the Z4/Viper match up was exactly like the Pagani Zonda/Lambo Murc match up yet when the american car raced it was exactly the opposite of what happened with the european cars.

Lets see the 06 viper has 5more hp,300lbs heavier yet is only .1 second slower in 0-60 acc and 1/4mile then the corvette. Its only maybe a second slower around the track. Now take the 600hp 08 viper the vette doesnt stand a chance.

2006: Completely redesigned z06 slightly beats the unchanged 06 viper
