Took me 17 years to beat this game....well, not 17 years of straight playing, but I've had this game for 17 years and just finished it yesterday.

Thank you for enjoying the game enough to do this! As one of the programmers for Strike Commander, we all sacrificed enormously to make what we thought was the best game in the world. And it pleases me to know that it is still appreciated.

Now that 2011 has finally arrived, I think it's time to actually play the game (was pretty sick of it by the time we finished)!

A fine game it is. It's one of those childhood games that me, my brother and my dad used to enjoy together. And we always remember how good it actually was, and still is.

This game cost to my dad 3 Logitech joysticks, btw. :)

Also, IIRC, I could NEVER get Lyle to live no matter how much I tried and cheated. The sumbitch died no matter what on a certain mission...

Watching these strike commander videos made just buy a copy on ebay. I played this game for eons when it first came out. Is Dosbox hard to setup to run SK? or is it pretty simple with windows xp?
