Hey Bobby, check out the performances of Jimmy Page, which you already saw obviously, but what I mean I never saw you change your pickup, but there is a thing that Jimmy does that allows you change the pickup going up and down...
But awesome! Creepy! Frighting! Chilling! Jawdropping!
HELP: I bought a viola bow, got rosin here's the problem. I've probaly bowed my little rectangle of rosin 100 times and nothing, no sound at all. Anyone know what the problem is? I dont think the rosin is sticking but i have no idea why not. HELPPPP!
well.. its pointless to try this since with a guitar bodies shape, and fingerboard/bridge radius youll never be able to selectively sound the strings you want.. should get one of those electronic guitar bows
if anyone doesnt have a bow string im working on a technique that uses your finger naill its alot harder than a bow and you have too move it back and forth very fast to make noise but ive written a song with it so its practical
i'm not trying to be "jimmy page" just because i use a bow!! i'm not trying to be anybody....it' like saying someone is trying to be jimi hendrix because they play a fender stratocaster, or trying to be eric clapton because they play a les paul...
oh ok thanks because i always had trouble since i want to learn this solo but i only have a strat and i have all the necessary effects but when i play its all noice because the bow cant reach the e strings or make chords.
@scarfacedan09 I do know that Jimmy Page first played with a bow using his Telecaster (Most notably done in London 1969 while playing Dazed and Confused)
I'm still waiting, week after week and hope, that once upon a time the day will come, when I'll find here Bobby's video about how to play Love of my life by Queen. And 12 string guitar is not a must :-)))
dude that is so fake, unless ur using very thin guitiar strings, cause if there regular guitar strings the coil will screw up the hose hair on the bow and therfor it wont work
well done, sir. i think it's not easy to keep under control bad resonances in that way. but maybe you're using an open tuning...very good taste, anyway, and not only a freak show!
i just bought my new guitar at long and mcquade about 5 weeks ago!! i play it in my new classical guitar videos ( and i live in bramalea, small world! )
That was awesome. The sound options using that Bow could be limitless.Thank you for sharing this with me.You rock. Please share more.I need to get a bow and try that out.God bless you and your family.

Nope - you heard the same note in different octaves.

Hmm, I have perfect pitch and I'm hearing E's, Eb's, G's, D's, C's... sounds like more than one note to me

This is absolute bullshit!!!
The guitar is not a bowed instrument, therefore, you can only get ONE fucking note using a violin bow...

do u need a Les Paul to do the solo or can u also use a strat for example?
scarfacedan09 4 years ago
it's almost impossible to play on a strat! best to play on a "les paul" style guitar with the pick guard removed.
BobbyCrispy 4 years ago
oh ok thanks because i always had trouble since i want to learn this solo but i only have a strat and i have all the necessary effects but when i play its all noice because the bow cant reach the e strings or make chords.
