  • I once heard a cockatoo out in a woodland and followed the sound to a blackbird in a tree. I thought where has he heard that? Then it clicked, the zoo was right next to this woodland, so he'd heard parrots and cockatoos there. Very clever mimics....

  • he sounds like a broke whelen

  • Haha too cool, imagine if there was a robbery going on in the area and this bird started up they would shit thier pants, good for local security

  • I love this! I especially love what you said at the end because I think that would annoy most people. Nevertheless, you said you wouldn't hurt it, and I like that! Besides after sharing on here, that would seem a little weird if you killed it or something, right? j/k

  • i was kinda hoping he would poop for the camera

  • So cool! Maybe a bit annoying, but I think I would miss that bird when it left.

  • Maybe they found another blackbird injuried? Somebody get a parakeetamedic!

  • So blackbirds are also like our cenzontles(northern mockingbird), they also imitate diff'rent sounds,...chickens, roosters, cats but never had i heard a song bird imitate an ambulance!!!lol,....=D

  • That's funny. You should see my vid of my local blackie singing his 4 note whistle. They are so comical.

  • blackbirds are known for their skills of mimicking all kinds of sounds... cute! :-)

  • my my I hope my local blackbirds never change their song to police sirens

  • thats weird...at my parents house there is a cardinal that runs into the window over and over and over i dont know why...he also likes to hit my side mirrors on my car...needless to say my mirrors are all scratched now =(

  • He sees his reflection and thinks its another bird. I had one that did the same thing every year, I guess during mating season, and he stayed around for several years.
