Go on the forums on any website, including the official Aion website forums, everyone says the slowest class to level is a ranger, they are horrible at 25, they are a damage class that doesnt do much damage! At the higher levels they are the best class, but anyone will tell you they suck until than. You have to kite constantly and one enemy takes forever to kill, if you get 2 enemies on you you have to get the hell out. Obviously ur just super special or retarded

u can skill 1 with the poison skill so he run very slow while u kill the other mob (thats no problem :] )

The option "disable click to move" was checked on by default with one of the patches, if I recall correctly. Simply uncheck it if you wish to use that method.

@Kakor3 he probably have + attack speed but that in this case doesn't change much-its just that hes using enchantment skill that makes hes attacks faster and stronger- and hes other attacks are just used this fast..-at lvl 46 with the right stigmas you'll be killing stuff this fast too

When you use Bestial Fury, your ranger goes from 25m to 15m but that gives you +50% Patk and +20% atkspeed. That's why he"s not so far from the enemy

Unless your constantly going to be in a group go with heart shot. Main issue with lethal shot is it cant be jump shotted and takes 2 seconds to cast. 2 seconds of standing their can be the difference between life and death at lvl 50 since were pretty much the glass cannon of Aion. Also to the people saying roll gladiators, im sorry but go ahead and reroll, prepare to reroll, or get rolled since your pretty much going to be a practice dummy for every other class.

Don't listen to the idiots saying Gladiators are the way to go, Gladiator is the worst solo PVP class, but it is OK in group PVP, it is VERY gear dependant, probably the most gear dependant class in the game.

Rangers have low survivability but the highest burst damage in the game, with Sorcerer's following close behind, Assassins have the highest SUSTAINED DPS in the game.

yea, thanks mate. ranged classes are abit tough. try again with 25 when u got some more styles. use the movement-bonus u get against ranged classes (side-stepping) for extra evades +200/300% i guess & your evade buff. it's like ~50% miss chance of his spells. a well timed stun-arrow and you should put him down.

From what I've seen so far with my own ranger (lv 20) is that I really LOVE him! At the moment the only one who beated me so far was my 2 levels higher cousin with his sorc. And just like crunk said. Know how to play your class? Then you'll kick arse with it. There probably will be loads of annoying rangers whom fail. But I think that Ranger will be one of the most powerful classes in Aion! It's hard to manage, but when you know what to do, you'll pwn!

Yep. A very well geared Ranger can do 2k crits with his best skills. This is after 1.5 (PvP damage reduction), mind you. Also, jump shot is still in the game, you just can't use macros with it (only one skill per jump basically), which reduces burst damage but doesn't hamper kiting in any way.

Also note that by the time you can do that much damage, all the decent opponents you will face will have at the very least 8k HP, and Ranger skills have relatively long cooldowns, so it's just not sit there and burst someone to death, you have to be creative.
