I love it when O'Reilly and Letterman get together. They play off each other well, and although they may not be friends they have a lively and fun debate. Letterman knows what buttons to press and it gets under Bill's collar, but then Bill usually is able to bring it together and they can have a pretty good discussion on issues and they obviously have good understanding of what they are talking about, especially Bill. Great stuff!

Let's be honest... It is SO obvious Letterman dislikes O'Reilly and he let's it show in this interview. Seriously, Letterman doesn't even try to ask fair questions. Every question is worded as a "gotcha" question. I think as history unfolds, that single incident will be what damns Bush's legacy. I love it when O'Reilly and Letterman get together. They play off each other well, and although they may not be friends they have a lively and fun debate. Letterman knows what buttons to press and it gets under Bill's collar, but then Bill usually is able to bring it together and they can have a pretty good discussion on issues and they obviously have good understanding of what they are talking about, especially Bill. Great stuff!

@bapyou That's true: to call dems communists is quite an exaggeration, but they may be more comparable to socialists then you realize, as they support many of the same programs and policies in Congress, like public health care for example; I consider myself a true conservative though, so hopefully I can convey a better image than is established by the media.

You can also tell that to the Kurds we finally paid our debt to after we abandoned them in the 1980's and the people not being raped and slaughtered under a facist regime, and you can tell them there death's finally now are for a cause of democracy, and no longer just needless sadism. You do seem to be forgetting that it was the United States CIA that assassinated the legitimate president of Iraq in 1963 and brought Saddam out of exile to rule Iraq in the first place.
Saddam would have never been in power in Iraq if it hadn't been for our involvement.
The US has repeatedly deposed or just outright killed democratic rulers in foreign nations if we didn't like them. America decides who gets to be free and who doesn't.

ok look at it this way sir/ms, by your line of logic I can keep taking it back and back in time, for example, using it, one could argue if France never helped us in the revolution America would never exist and thus couldn't influence anything on anyone.
