when i was a child i felt very upset when i saw that my friends parents were not like mine .you think it goes on with everyone untill then .luckily i wasnt abused to a great extent .but it changes you forever.i try to learn from their mistakes and stop the cycle .it hurt more to see my sibling be hit than it did myself.i feel it made me too empathetic towards my peers and they mistook kindness for weakness.
