  • Fat lot of good it did objecting to this happening.

  • A politicians policies are changed more often than the sheets in a bordello, it just depends on when you tune as to which Soap Box they are standing on. Pick a side Mr O’Farrell, preferably one that’s going to benefit the community and environment rather than what makes you most popular. Solar is the future! Get behind our industry and make a decision on the solar policy. NOW!

  • How come you changed your mind on the carbon tax. You supported it when Turnbull was federal leader, but now you oppose it? Are you just another Liberal hypocrite?

  • Barry doesn't care about the future of the planet, just about breaking election promises and attacking workers!

  • I Agree No Carbon Tax Barry u right

  • Hi Barry - I'm sure you are right that grocery prices will go up, considering all the productive farming lands being surrendered to King Coal. Please tell me how we will feed ourselves in 10, 20, 50 yrs time if your Govt continues to plunder the land as the outgoing Govt has done? What is your vision? What is our future to be once the coal rush has ended? I'm very concerned, not for myself but for our children & their children. I'd love to have a response from you, the next Premier.

  • Hi Barry, what's your plan to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions then? I think you should have mentioned it in the video. If the risk of serious climate change does eventuate, food prices may increase a whole lot more! I hope you've seen the "Australia and Food Security in a Changing World" report by the independent Prime Minister’s Science, Engineering and Innovation Council.

  • I agree 100% with Turbo2640, carbon tax is a federal issue, you should focus on coming up with more plans on how your going to fix New South Wales. Although I have to say that carbon tax should be the way to go to help big polluters clean up their act, it doesnt affect cost of living, its a carbon pricing form. It's carbon pricing as it helps polluted industries to clean up their act and is the answer to shift to a low carbon future.

  • Barry, I believe you will be the next Premier of NSW and I say, bring it on. However, I think there are plenty of state issues for you to address. Whoever advised you that it was clever to comment right now on the carbon tax was wrong. That is a federal issue. Don't get distracted because it weakens your position. It invited Prime Ministerial mockery. The carbon tax will be dealt with. Just focus on key state issues, highlight state Labour failures and confidently promote Liberal policies.
