i dont understand why oil means so much, i do everything i can to stay away from oil. only thing i want is olive oil, if people would not buy oil as much put oil co;s on there ass, and let them go poor and starve
Lundin Oil and the Swedish foreign minister Carl Bildt have killed 50000 people in Africa by paying assassins and drive people out of their villages. Swedish government is the worlds biggest fraud!
I'm Eritrean & like millions of Eritreans, I consider Sudan, my second home. ETERNALLY grateful & ALWAYS HUMBLED by the warm, kind, friendly, dissent & caring heart of the Sudanese people, I witnessed the growth of Sudan.
While the Western "FREE PRESS", NEVER had anything good to write or broadcast about Africa, Asia & Latin America, in the case of Sudan, US agenda is related to Chevron, American oil company, expelled out of Sudan & China taking over the oil revenue.
add Sudan to the long list of tragedies in Africa. maybe the locals should adopt an economy based on education and rule of law, like the rest of the world (except Mexico).
They should, I feel people in Africa got so used to other countries giving aid that they got lazy. All they seem to do is fight over territory and kill each other. And now looks like Sudan is going to turn into a second Iraq.
China Suck's 2 Third's more Oil out of South Sudan, than any Country!!!China don't care about Sudanese, they are there with Chinese Troops too Protect there OIL!!
Bad journalism. The film doesn´t in any way confirm the assumption that the voice-over and the infotext about the film try to give. It might be true, but the only interview says the opposite.
The people who made this film should bring in facts, not opinions. It is counter-productive.
This is my town, I hope one day this oil company supporting the government would realized that their support was nothing but a greed for money and ignorance of human suffering.
the displacement of the ppl of the region has nothing to do with the londin or any othr oikl co. this is repeated over & over again in this film. if anything, londin is bringing jobs, both direct & indirectly to the area. the ppl there like it. the faction fighting is what's displacing the ppl
you get it but you don't reallly get it, and i dont blame you because it is clear not so clear in the video either.
i am from south sudan, and i know it gets complicated. it is true that if lundin co. left, other companies would come and exploit the resources and the people too. but the people you see are not the beneficiaries of the oil exploration. in fact, they are the victims. lundin co. does not employ them. it employ people from the north as their workers. lundin does not bring jobs.
shalom journeyman im so happy how you tell the truth i was wondering if maybe u could make a video that shows how the war on oil has effected the people of different regions in political or natural ways as far as human rights how oil has caused war ty so much for ur hard work shalom from sophia

would it be accurate to say that the people are mistreated by a government that is made more powerful by taxing the londin oil concession?
