Magnaflow's should not go on imports, same with Flowmaster's. Imports should stick with the cheap embarrassing sounding mufflers, or if they know what they're doing, spoon mufflers.

@babyzachariot Thanks :-) I REALLY need to post some more video with better sound. These just don't do the Magnaflow system much justice. It has much better midrange and bass in person, especially under a slight load (normal driving) - then screams when you're in the upper RPM range.

@hypershadow87 no where to found because all these drivers don't actually look around to replace everything. They go muffler and done. My saturn ion has high flow cat resonator and muffler from magnaflow. 12X8 Oval cat, 26X4 Resonator, and 26X6 muffler. Deepest sound i've heard on most 4 bangers. and dyno'd at 179hp. Pretty good for not having anything else done

@hypershadow87 Sorry, but from a 4 cylinder that revs to almost 9K, you're just not going to get a super-low exhaust tone. At idle, and low-rpm cruising, this exhaust setup is pretty low and resonates loud enough for me... (sets off sensitive alarms)

The warranty ends at 36K, anyway, but changes to anything behind the cat won't void your warranty. All the emissions controls are done by that point in the exhaust system, so all that's left to worry about is corrosion and noise... Not warranty items.

To answer a few.. the car is stock, other than the exhaust and the K&N fiter. The filter is just a replacement for the stock one, not a short ram, or other setup. The only other "Mods" I have done are to use Royal Purple synthetic oil, Royal Purple Purple Ice coolant additive, and ZMax engine/fuel treatment.

All of that helps free up additional horsepower

Of course, most people's mentality would be.. If it's not blinged/turbo'd/NOS'd... it ain't shit.

Yes. High octane number = less flammable fuel. The reason is to allow higher compression ratios, which yield more power. Unless you have the compression / boost to take advantage of it, higher octane fuel is a waste of money. Ditto, higher octane additives.

This video was taken with an Olympus digital still camera, so the sound here is CRAP.

If you have headphones, wear them, and crank up the bass.. it's closer, but still bad audio.

The car is MUCH bassier (lol) in person. It resonates quite a bit inside the car as well, but not overly so. (i've had cars that would rattle teeth - this setup isn't bad)
