lol fatmeteor you sir are retarded. you accelarate a lot faster when doing a wheelie at least on a bike. it is when you drop the front wheel down that you lose a lot of your gained speed.and you dont have to accelarate as fast as you can to gain speed, you dont have to accelarate as fast because you are only moving one wheel. idk really how to explaine it but i have three friends with bikes and they all say you accelarate faster when doing a wheelie.

It was a yamaha thunderace first of all. 2nd, those are classified as "sport tourers" not full fledged race bikes as the gsxr series is. but still the firebird did great to beat it

The bike is a Yamaha Thunderace, as Denmah says. That car would have a hell of a lot more trouble racing the GSX-R 1000. It pulls about 195-200 mph max, even though the digital guage stops at about 188mph. And that is stock..
The Thunderace has a top speed of about 160mph, a considerable amount slower. I think the driver just got confused as to the bike raced, or he just said GSX-R to make it seem more impressive.
