Barry, your potrayal of Bobby was extraordinary and compelling to watch, so much so I've sat through the series twice and could easily do so again. Thank you.
Even if The Kennedys wasn't exactly a good historical account of the family, I found it to be good for what it was. And Barry Pepper was definitely the best part of the whole thing.
what a lovely, articulate guy. he seems to have a lot of respect for the kennedys. im guessing he has left views when he says we need more people like RFK. we need more actors like him!
Barry's RFK stole the entire miniseries for me. He just had such force and personality that he eclipsed the other characters, even if he wasn't supposed to be the "main character", per se. What an incredible actor!
I also thought Barry also had great chemistry with Greg (JFK) and Tom (Joe Kennedy). They made a convincing family.
Man, I like him very much as an actor. I loved his performance on Saving Private Ryan, and in the miniseries he is just awesome. Hope he has as great a career as he has had until now!

@Armyofficer Fox News is total and utter dross and is owned by Murdoch's News Corp (and you only need look at the news from all other stations at present to know what a pile of trash this company is - the prime example of junk journalism). Fox is not unbiased, they allow so called journalists like Glenn Beck to broadcast their conservative crap which is elitism at it's worst. Only people who agree with the garbage fox broadcast would think that such a broadcaster is "fair and balanced".
@Armyofficer I'm not into personal insults, I don't know you personally, so their would be no reason to get personal. As for 2012, I don't think Obama has anything to worry about. The conservatives didn't think Clinton stood a chance at re-election but he did, despite never winning a mid-term. The voters who are unsure about Obama got their fears sorted when he lost his mid-term, now he doesn't have a majority, they will not be so worried about not re-electing him.
@FabFM - Liberals have controlled and protected BHO and his constant foot-in-mouth disease, as well as his associations, while going after Palin and Bachmann like crazy. Bachmann gets investigated for caring for 23 adoptions, and church changes, while BHO gets a pass for being friends with a terrorist and a racist. Only FOX News isn't going on a constant rampage after GOP Leaders, while DNC genuflects every time BHO enters the room. FOX destroys the liberal news - they ARE fair & balanced.

@ivorbigunzz from what I heard the Kennedy family was against it, particularly Caroline. I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that it hinted that her father had cheated on her mother. But that is no secret to anyone anymore. Most people here in the U.S. are well aware the Jack was unfaithful to Jackie and that he was trying to bag more women than his old man had. But I'm sure it was also out of respect for the children of Bobby Kennedy and having to see the scenes when he was assassinated
@Tsunki23 same here although since purchasing the series non iTunes I've sat through it about 5 times simply due to Barry Peppers portrayal of RFK

I've watched this show over the past few weeks on the UK History channel.
What i cannot understand is why the US critics panned this show.
The only conclusion i came to was the US hates to see its heroes shown in a bad light.
Question.
Why didn't the History channel USA have the guts to show it?
