Alright, I'll say this. The opening for the English dub is AWESOME! BOSS!

However, the show itself in English dub is so awkward. They changed the character names, put in cliche plotholes, cut out the romance, most of the comedy, the character development, and the major key points of the story. Even the actors sound awkward. If they do get the chance to re-dub the entire thing, have people like FUNimation work on it and not 4kids... Sorry for the rant.

I've been hearing how people complaining bout how in the 4Kids English dub, they were trying to make Li out to be the main character instead of Sakura...honestly, I dont remember that...other than the fact that, yea, I've heard that they revised the order of the episodes to make Li introduced sooner, I didn't really see it. I always saw Sakura as the main character, so I dont see what yall are complaining that much about that issue.

This was a Romance shoujo manga, and the english edit murdered everything. Thank heaven I can still find the japanese original.

Japanese is so much better, in both the opening and the actual show.

The the actual show was edited heavily... like Syaoran had a crush on Yukito, which somehow disappeared in the dub. It was kind of a big thing... don't edit that out

There were quite a few other edits... in the original one of sakura's classmates (forget her name now) had a crush on her teacher... I don't recall that in the dub.

I just watched the subbed version recently and I nostalgia'd so hard, but it's a little sickening how many of the original scenes they had to get rid of so that there was less romance. Though, I guess I would have cut out the yuri undertones too if I was cartoon network.

I just say a word, "Sad" sad, because this is NOT the real one, I saw the Japanese version first, the original. when i saw "Card Captors" I said: "Nice show, they change it to a kind of Shonen. But i hate, that "SXS Moments" were skipped" I really like this "American version" But, i cant not deny that Nevana made a nice Opening. ;). I am really happy for those who liked this version. But I am more happy, for those one, who liked the original. Everyone have their likes... I respect that.... ^_^

Cardcaptors is about magic cards that actually do stuff, yugioh is about adults settling their differences through childrens card games and take it way to seriously. I think you should check out Yugioh: the Abridged series.
