Doug lost badly during the first two fights because he wasn't trained as well as Jimmy. He had some witch doctor Kali master. While Jimmy was training, Doug was getting chicken blood allover himself. BUt Doug beat the *(#*$#$ at of him in the last fight. Weird how these marines attire look so much like the US Marine's.

Compared to the other forms they have trained in kali seems(especially in sparring) like a 7th grade school yard fight .Don't get me wrong they are tough and the training is insane but no kicks and slap boxing come on.Plus Doug solidly kicked his ass in the stick and hand watch close he dodged flattened his face with six strikes in a row and finished the stick round with a pretty shot to his collar bone,desision Doug!!!!

well i can tell you that a soldier has no chance against some one trained in boxing during a boxing match

the handsbattle was no close combat, just a form of boxing so it was normal that the solider lost because those americans train boxing at home

like with them u have the "neutralise without killing" philosophy, but with th filipino styles u see that the main goal is to kill instead of to simply defeat. you can already tell by just comparing the episodes they made with the filipino styles and the other

Not to be messed with, but if you look at Self Defence BJJ and JJ and maybe some newer schools of Aikido they are defending themselves (watch thier demonstrations and aplications) from practically the same things these guys are sporting as simple understandable techniqes. Not gona say one is better but based on what they lean on. BJJ and Aikido have an advantage.
