Erhm, this is the PC version? People playing on consoles can't pick things up like that, we have to walk against it to make it move..

I hate this game sometimes. Saw the switch and jumped on it and nothing happened. THen I watch this, try it again, and then it works. Stupid game why do you have to be such a good game but have SO MANY glitches?

@TheFLFreak That's exactly what I did. I know the lock itself isnt a glitch. The glitch was that when I jumped on it the first time nothing happened. Put something on it nothing happened. After that I looked around for 20 minutes looking for a lever or chain because I thought, well this pressure plate doesnt work when I apply pressure to it so that must not be it. I had to reload the area for it to work. That is a glitch that wasted 20 minutes of play time.

You don't get the dawnbreaker that way?

You get it by doing a quest for a goddess. You go into her temple and rid of "the filth" that is infiltrating it.

Where did you get this quest from?

@cuppycakesandzombies I know how get the Dawnbreaker! I've goten it 3 times. When you start out you go to a random location after talking to Meridia and retrieve her Beacon, then you go into the temple and get the Dawnbreaker weapon.
