  • If it wasn't so ugly...

  • migasson You're missing the point here boyo with the ownership.Mercedes, BMW and Toyota are not own by anyone but themselves when Jaguar didn't manage to survive on its own which says a lot about quality, refinemend and most of all customer's willingness to buy it

  • david cameron has an armoured version of this. now we may not all like him but it has to be one of the smartest looking country leader cars i've ever seen. not to bold, not to discreet just really smart.

  • In my opinion this current XJ isn't an XJ. I don't mean it's not a very very good car but the design in a way lets it down. Although it's good looking but it doesn't look like an XJ. I think it's just a big and more refined XF. Jaguar XJ had kept it's own distinctive lines since the 60's and over the decades they had become one of the most recognizable in the motoring world. I just don't understand why Jaguar decided to end the glorious tradition.

  • Oh, but I wouldn't spend 100k on any of those cars, I'd spend them on a ferrari :P

  • @SJ4y No ferrari costs as much as a xj or a s-class

  • @Twsit133 This sounds like you're saying that ferraris are cheaper than the XJ and the Merc

  • @n74c64 Hahaha i meant no ferrari will cost as much as an XJ, Its gonna cost a lot more.

  • @Twsit133 Actualy i found a Ferrari that is cheaper than the Merc, the California in basic spec costs about 146k, the Merc Cl 65 costs161595 GBP, and the S65 is the best part of a 163580 GBP but they both produce 630 BHP, meanwhile the california just has about a 453 BHP but i think if people who wouldnt know the specs look at both of them they will still think that the Fezza is more expensive and powerfull ;)

  • I hate the chauvinism of the british...

The car is plain ugly, and it can't compete with mercedes/bmw/audi engineering.

No wonder that I don't see any.

  • @SJ4y True, their chauvinism is disgusting,

    BUT

they make exquisite cars. Jaguar XJ has got ZING, while German saloons look and feel insensible. + S-Class, A8, and even 7 series feel like canal boats next to XJ.

  • @szybkilopez566 I've been driven in all of those cars, and that's what they're for. The feeling you get in the back is the thing these type of cars are about, and nothing beats the S-class in it.

    Sidenote: the jaguar's ugly

  • @SJ4y I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that's great. Different strokes for different folks. But I wouldn't put my 100k quid to get an S-class, not in a million years. It's so boring, it makes me nauseous. Looking at it is like being given a lap dance by an overweight German pensioner. Eww... A8 and 7 aren't far behind. But it's just me. Bottom line: ZING and passion for me :-)

  • @SJ4y Learn what the word means you foreign goon... and of course it can compete. The entire new Jaguar range is extremely competitive. British cars in general are consistently high quality at the moment. Over here most people in German cars are seen as idiots.

  • I loved the previous model XJ. I don't like the new one :(

  • Jaguar is now indian, so shut up

  • I hate the new XJ.

  • @NottinghamForest22 No one cares. If you don't like it, don't purchase it.

  • @Brooksbro91 wish i had the 5.0V8 XJ shortwheel base. Seriously, I've owned bullet proof Lexuses and Lincolns throughout the years but they were so boring and diminished any sense of realism and passion. After a family member bought a British car [and suffered from reliability issues] I understood the true meaning of a car's character. I don't want the Jag for economy or convenience. The soul connection, beautiful aesthetics, crisp handling and raw power is something Lexus can't provide.

  • @TheJohancha86 You are 110% correct my friend. Jag may never win any reliability awards, but it, and other British makes will have a style and soul that few cars could ever match. Ever since my 1st Jag, there was really no turning back. I've also owned a Porsche, which was fun, but still wasn't the same. In an intangible way, Jaguars convey a panache that neither the Germans...and certainly not Japanese, could ever equal.

  • @Brooksbro91 the british car industry is without equal, if only if they could remain in profit. Jaguar, Range Rover, Rolls, Bentley, Aston, Lotus, Caterham, Ariel, Bowler, MG, TVR, McLaren, Fabrio, Noble [my favourite], Cosworth, XTM, MINI, Lister...

Just pure iconic motoring. Something even the Italians fall short of.

Cars are for driving and loving. Its either British, or its the subway.

  • THIS IS NOT A JAGUAR THIS IS A KIA WITH AN HIGHER STICKER PRICE FOR THE DUMB UNINTELLIGENT BUYER!!!

TAKE A LOOK AT THE XJ BY BERTONA AND TO THE E TYPE SPEEDSTER 2011 : THESE ARE REAL JAG!

  • the truth is.. india is a very shitty country....

  • @MrAmansyed you seem dissed at our progress. cant help!

  • @MrAmansyed fuck u ...mulle

  • @MrAmansyed wht country u belong ........listen mr it never depends on the country ......it depends on the person ....and u have showed ur standard ....and totally reflected to which ...country ...u belong and iam pretty sure ...tht u will not be having enough money to even afford headlight of this car ....so please keep ur perception to urself only ///nobody is asking u .....

  • looks like it has 09 lancia delta tail lights

  • Jaguar had a superb looking XJ from '04 through right before THIS body style and interior. I'm a fan of the J-gate (not a twist-type knob), four distinctive head lamps, and the iconic tail lamps; this machine has virtually NO wood in the cockpit, and looks too much like the Lexus and all of the other futuristicly styled sedans. The Jag stylists "sold out"; the powerplant on the other hand, is enough to satisfy anyone's need for speed.

  • i love german luxury cars but there's just so many of them everywhere, the nice thing about this car(and british luxury cars) is that they're so few in comparison, at least i believe so, and it's nice to be different....also, kind of ironic that the german luxury car is right hand drive, but the british luxury one isn't.

  • It looks amazingly gorgeous!!

  • well some people buy cars, but theres some who buys whole company. Tata did and whole jaguar employs are now working for tatas subsidiary and so make them tatas servent, because tata is the one who saves the company to go bankrupt .

But if you really love jaaag you doesnt care if the car is british or korean or Indian or whatever.

  • Just because jaguar is owned by indians it doesn't make it indian. Its the same principal with chrysler, just because chrysler is owned by italians doesn't make it italian, chrysler is an iconic american car manufacture, just like jaguar, and iconic british car manufacturer.

  • poor me having to settle with a merc, why oh why couldn't there be a proper dealer in Malaysia capable of servicing and up keeping a revived British marque.... even though it is owned by an Indian, its still purely British from the designer, one of the best in the world the man who brought us the db7. to the chief engineers, its British. and you cant deny the way it drives too, the merc on my hand is a bit too serious a car, this is fun, and pleasant, and that's really all I look for in a car

  • In the modern car industry, very few companies make all their cars in their country of origin. Look at Toyota, all over the world, Mercedes, there's made in Germany, South Africa and the USA, the same with BMW. And, really, so what if the Indians own Jaguar? what's the big deal? If they are well engineered, reliable cars, then the customer is the winner.

  • Dear @skbuoy r u a designer of jag xj if no then why the hell r u making so much noices like empty vessele.yes we indian use to be slave once upon a time but now 70% of top company around the world we indian are working at a very high designation. world highest expoter of spices and pulses. textile . jewellery etc and now of course jaguar its an indian company we have taken over it soon we will take over all .time has changed get ready to be our slaves u .......

  • @pritishdas11 @skbuoy

Pritish skbouy did not say anything bad...he is just amused by India's progress..please do not post any hate comments

  • THIS IS NOT A JAG BUT JUST A RENAMED KOREAN CAR

THE REAL JAG WAS SHOWED IN GENEVA BY BERTONE

  • @margix you're an idiot

  • The central console of this car is the most spectacular I've seen in any car. The front of the car itself is also a triumph, so much so that I can overlook the rather hideous rear end D:

This is definitely up there with the S-Class.

  • i love everything about this car except for no consol shifter....

  • So Ugly!! The Bmw 7 and Audi A8 look so much better imo...

  • AWESOME CAR.. But why is that FATSO still saying its BRITISH...

Agreed that it is designed by under Ian Callum(British)...But the Company is entirely owned by TATA(Indian)...

So now its an INDIAN car.. Call it INDIAN you Fatso :P

  • @KimKing00 Nothing about this car is Indian, however the owners of Jaguar are Indian, this car was still designed by and is very British, and I think this car is awesome. So for the owners of Jag allowing the complete redesign of this car was a cool thing. I think this car has finally made a funny I say this a LEAP Forward, with other modern cars of BMW, and Mercedes. It looks awesome, I would love to own one.

  • @MrJennings85 Well I guess you didnt quite read my comment. I did agree that it was designed under Ian (British Guy)..But it doesnt matter who designed it, the car should be called INDIAN, its not abt the designer but the owner..Just an example: You would probably know that Chevrolet Camaro got the best design award for 2010. It is designed by Sangyup Lee (Korean) but still we dont call Chevy as Korean but as American.. Same way its the OWNER who matters not the DESIGNER..So Jaguar XJ is INDIAN.

  • @KimKing00 Mate, the Indians are simply not capable of designing a car like a Jag, and never have been. You make Tatas. And that's it. The British have the best car designers in the world, we export the talent, the best car design course in the world (the RCA), and our product/industrial design talent dominates across the world (think Jonathan Ive at Apple). It may be Indian owned, but that's it. Nothing about this motor is Indian.

  • @SenorSol I agree, India make dreadful cars like the Tata Indica, or as we know it as the CityRover, they make Tata Nano which sets on fire, Brits rule and always will.

  • @MrJennings85 And like you pointed out.. I would also Love to Own one ............

  • @KimKing00 There is nothing about that motor that is Indian, other than the parent company of Jag. It's designed by a Brit, built by Brits, marketed by Brits, photographed by Brits, while the Indians sit on the sidelines and get the kudos for doing SWA. The Indians simply couldn't build a car like that, and never have. You either copy other people's designs (think: Royal Enfield, Bajaj, Mahindra) or just make utter crap yourselves (Tata Nano).

  • The Jaguar XJ is an interesting car but nothing can be compared to the S-Class

  • hahaha bullshit car

  • Jaguar looks better. But the Merc is definitely the better piece of machinary.

    Give me a Merc, anyday.

  • Yes Indians bought them. British people still design them. Duh.

  • this boy are so ugly.

  • Watch this jaguar do a peelout on my channel!!!

  • 900 billion pounds? Tha fuck, i'm moving there. I'm in America and ours is reportedly around 14 trillion dollars, i'm a teenager and they said we are the ones to pay for that shit, fuck that, i'd rather spend the money to buy a new 911.

  • The only reason they say Jaguar is Indian, while it is owned by Indians, as a company, we, hear in the UK still build all the cars in the same factory as the Supermarine Spitfire, which is as British as you can get.

    2. Can't afford one. And 3, they're most likely BMW salesmen.

  • Gud News.. ". Jaguar is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Indian company Tata Motors Ltd. "

    Brilliant Car!!!

  • When a Jaguar owned by the British, he was much better. Now shit. Mercedes best car in the world.

  • Why is the car LEFT HAND DRIVE?

AUTOCAR UK aren't YOU in the UK?

  • @zor0825 Nope that's Germany

  • I really love the new XJ. I just hope it holds its resale value better than previous XJs...

  • @hyundaixl I don't! If I can get into one of these for under £30k in a few years time, I will truly be laughing!!!!

I suspect it might do though, as it already seems to be attracting a new type of buyer and is in big demand.

  • nothing against jag but my friend has an xf he bought a couple of months ago and last week that rotary gear shift thing got stuck and wouldnt come back up....

  • hay skbuoay !!! i think u need to brush up ur knowledge!! india is the next superpower after america!! even OBAMA is licking the great indian ass !!! now more than 50000 brits call RATAN TATA his boss!! TATA ROCKS

  • SATnav!!

  • Every new button & feature on a car translates itself into a new potential failure, an irritating warning message on the dash and additional time at the dealership for maintenance.

The air suspension system, the fancy gearbox and all the gadgets all over the car are nice and everything, but how much will that cost me to maintain the car?

All the Jag's are maintenance whores. And the with the new gadgets? More failures. Have seen this movie with BMW before!

    BTW, I own a LS460. So, yeah...

  • @SudiArabia

Yes but the Lexus is a boring appliance....

I'd rather try a brand new exciting restaurant than settle for a bowl of Cheerios.

  • Comment removed

  • I find it irritating that reviewers still refuse to admit THIS IS THE best car in the class right now. All th waiting for this new car to be out , that new car to be out .. c'mon, it's clearly some nationalist mentality going on here.

  • Test it against the best of the 7 series and THEN you can make up yourself an opinion about if it's really as good as you say!

  • shat up you indians, this car was designed and built in UK! If Jaguar moves their production factories then the company will go bust.

  • these stupid white Caucasian brits.....are stupid just like the rest of those colonial europe imperialistic....shitholes....their punishment will come....not by only taking over manufactures....but delete them from this planet! ^^

  • cartman

  • the XJ is amazing but I wouldnt chose above a S-Class

  • i like it

  • Everyone who said Jaguar is Indian can't afford to own one

People who says BMWs and Mercs are more prestigious than Jaguars are cocks. It's 2010! and BMWs were never prestigious in my opinion

Anyone who disses Jaguar for its horrible history in reliability are biased to the fact that Mercedes Benz was also unreliable

Can't say anything to someone who wants a BMW or Mercedes over this but to people who diss this car a lot has got to go and get a life. Why watch in the first place?

  • @mondeost2202008

Many dont realised, sure BMW and Merc are big on engineering but allways fails on passion and characther.

Jags are stepping up to the game, XK - No pure sporting driving king like porscher 911 but better allrounder, XF-batters the 5 series even the new model is still no match and now this. And Land Rovers isnt ffar behind either

The germans are losing out fast...

  • @Adelante077 Yup. Can't say the same for powertrain though since the most powerful engine they currently have is a supercharged V8 producing around 510bhp where as the germans are going over 550 especially Mercedes and BMW but maybe they'll up it for future models.

And the the germans win the sales BUT they never win people's taste. People only choose them because many presume their the best (like porsche for instance) and underrated is always better plus Jags are more exclusive.

  • @mondeost2202008

There is roumers that this XJ will propably not be the most powerful it will be.

there still concidering the XJR with even more pork pies, For a car like this without the hardcorenes R badge with 510bp isint too bad at all, it may have 510hp but weighs around the same as the Aston Martin DB9 for such a big car and if you think of it its actually under a second quicker then a V12 BMW even though it has more cylinders, turbos, power and tourqe.

  • @Adelante077 And I was quite surprised after it beat the Maserati Quattroporte around the nurburgring as what I've heard. And it is quite light compared to it's rivals. If only the older XJ had the same power to weight ratio.

Hope they up the power by the time the XJR is released and I think they should lighten up the XF as well. It would be a winner. XJs have been my favorite cars along with the XK/R and XF/R.

  • @mondeost2202008

Well I guess it's just a matter of opinion. We can argue about this all day and still not get anywhere. But Where was Jag when BMW and MB were enjoying decades of success? Oh yeah. Nobody would buy their cars so it was being tossed around between other companies.

  • The Germans have better management I think. And both Mercedes and BMW had their problems back when Jaguar was at its peak. Jaguar had the Mark 2, BMW had the M5 and Mercedes had the S class so they had their days.

At least we have Audi to make things more complicated -____-

  • @mondeost2202008 correction: the most powerful engine of the last models, is the one used in the xkr 75 with 530 bhp. bout the record i really hope for a v12 engine from JAG

  • @mondeost2202008 true, and i got to say this JAG is a superb machine, i'll take this any day over the new s 350 cdi, that car have turned in to a taxi the last few years

  • @mondeost2202008 true, and i got to say this JAG is a superb machine, i'll take this any day over the new s 350 cdi, that car have turned in to a taxi, u get to see that twice every fucking day of the week. the JAG have always been more like a privet car if u know what i mean ;)

  • @gregfiesta1 Well that depends. I wouldn't even be looking at the base model of both cars if I were choosing a Full size Luxury sedan.

I'm completely torn apart from both the Merc and Jag but I'll go for the XJ because XJs have been my favorite cars since I was a kid.

  • @mondeost2202008

very well said, another new jag and another hit to the germans

just look how the XK and XF are getting on so far and now jaguar are gonna build a X-type replacement and that would propably run rings around BMW and mercs aswell

  • @Adelante077 and the rumored 2 seater roadster ala E type. They should really consider a new V6 as well if they'e coming up with an X-type replacement or the Germans will run rings around the Jag. At least the current Gen V8 in it and no FWD.

I'm thinking the X type would be something like Volkswagen Passat CC because of Jaguar's coupe-ish design cues.

  • @mondeost2202008

A new v6 for other models but for the e-type they should make a hig reving straight 6 just for that car.

And the x-type is going to be RWD and would be based on a shorter platform version of the XF

  • @Adelante077 Mmmmmmmmm...... Yes a high revving Straight 6. Reminds me of the Weissman MF3 which houses a BMW M3 E46 under the hood.

Good. It is a must for a luxury brand to have RWD for all of its models. BMW has been doing it for years with the exception of the Mini which is FWD. I'm expecting it to look much similar to the XF as well.

  • @mondeost2202008

not demention BMW are concidering their own FWD car

  • @mondeost2202008 Just because a mercedes is unreliable doesn't justify a jaguar being unreliable. To call anyone who thinks another car is better a "cock"? You seem a little hypocritical.

    Great car btw..

  • @RSGuides577 I didn't entirely referred such as a "cock"

What I meant was those people who would defend just for the badge, engineering and everything that makes them superior. I've got big respect from both names. Merc just leaked a vid of their new SLK and it was promising enough to put it beside the z4. Jaguar is planning on a roadster as well and I'm looking forward to it.

I just hate it when somebody tries to defend a brand with its ups and bash on another with their downs just saying.

  • @mondeost2202008 your argument is as religious as those you oppose, my friend!

  • @mondeost2202008 jaguar ia now indian. we own it. your being cocky, go buy jaguar again mate.

  • d@jaiveer17 I've been explaining this to ignorant little fan boys for 2 years -__-

Jaguar is the one doing all the research and development. The only way that TATA is involved here would be for approving, financing and supplying. Jaguar is doing the "dirty work" here.

Jaguar may be Indian owned but remember this, a Full English breakfast is still called a full English breakfast no matter where you are eating it so unless the Jaguars were rebadged TATAs, you cannot consider them as "Indian".

  • @mondeost2202008 you love jaguar , i love jaguar. so lets cut the crap. and fuck the german rivals :)

    cheers mate!

  • @jaiveer17 Not only Jaguar

    British luxury entirely :)

  • @mondeost2202008 hey by any chance do you know what tatat makes or duss?.well i know your right about that jaguar is still being rund by jaguar it self, i cant see why any one duss not agree with you that jaguar is still english, but its ownd by an indian compuny now it would be a difreint story if they moved jaguar to india, then it would be an indian made car.

  • @fountain219 it won't make a difference. Unless the Jags become rebadged Tata vehicles then it is still British. The elements that defines British luxury is still there (something the Chinese owned MG lacks).

Jaguar could move manufacturing to India but the ideas and development behind them are still inspired by the British luxury of yesterday. If they gave it the "Indian" touch than that makes it Indian. British does not refer to where it is made, it refers to the idea behind it. Ideas travel.

  • Looks great, us Brits still make good cars, even if it is with Indian backing nowadays it's still British designers and engineers who are making them.

  • my dad just got this brand new carrrr so for all you stupidd haterss who think your so cool by hating on thiss hate on you fag moms

  • indibunny - what the hell are you talking about?!!!

Any moron who buys this car brand new should have his head examined

    Jaguar......Elites? do us all a favor -

go dig a hole and jump in it -

  • nice front but the back looks like a lincoln mks :(

  • Being owned by TATA kinda makes me like Jaguar less. A brand with such a rich history should have an equally worthy owner but TATA is not one of those companies at all. I'm not trying to offend anyone here but I liked Jaguar better when it was owned by Ford. At least Ford was well known and has quiet a history in car making.

  • @MUSlC1213 I feel the contrary, TATA used to have a richer history but is known to very few people. It was started in 1869 in India when she was ruled by the British, a time when Jaguar or Ford was started. And all good history should start in some day, like when Fords T-model came to the streets. Similary, I feel acquring Jagauar is a great momment in the history of TATA.

  • @tonyjosep007

Apparently, TATA's history is not good enough for people to really notice the company. Perhaps if the company measured up to other brands, it would have been more known. I've never even heard of the brand before it started making the cheapest car in the world. Yes, acquiring Jaguar was good for TATA but Jaguar was a hopeless company that Ford was desperately trying to get rid of. Until TATA makes Jaguar so even BMW or MB feels threatened, they don't have much history yet.

  • @MUSlC1213 That's ignorance, It is a well known brand for 1 billion people over there. And it is a company known in various other names, probably you may have heard of Corus steel, a british steel gaint, which was acquired by TATA prior to Jag. Teltley, the second largest tea manufacturer is a Tata brand. Its 11th Most reputable company in the world in 2009. Its has 380000 + employees and 78.5 billion dollor revenew. It has got 50% more revenew than BMW and if BMW is on bid, TATA would buy it.

  • @tonyjosep007

I was talking strictly about automotives, not the steel industry and certainly not the tea industry. It may be a company known to it's own nation but not a company that's well known to the world. Let's face it. BMW and MB are miles ahead of Jag, LR, and TATA Motors. BMW is ahead of them in almost all aspects, especially sales. And if BMW ever goes on bid, (which will never happen) the Germans will never let TATA own their company.

  • @MUSlC1213 Similary, If you tell about BMWs, or MB to people in Asia or to people in Africa, they wouldn't be knowing about that. Hence its a relative matter. And regarding the sales, the aim of TATA is just business, so do that of BMW, Its money what they counts. And we cant predict what will happen in next 10-20 years. What this year saw was the 60% rise in Jaguar sales. The car makers history in money making is irrelevant, and all what matters to consumer is a good car with affordable price.

  • @tonyjosep007

Depends which part of the world you are talking about. If you are talking about an undeveloped country without very much technology, they are most likely not going to know about ANY car company. Let's not go off topic here. I don't want to go into economics but I imagine it's hard for you to admit but people will probably never look at TATA the way they look at BMW or MB. These companies will always be steps ahead of TATA Motors.

  • @tonyjosep007

If you want to talk about revenue, let's put it this way. BMW is a very specialized company that can solely concentrate on making good vehicles, where as TATA has very broad field in buisness. BMW will be able to make better vehicles because that it is much more specialized to do one thing than TATA. Now if TATA Motors alone made more money than BMW, I wouldn't be able to say anything, but it doesn't. Most likely never will.

  • @MUSlC1213 I agree that, In europe, people would buy the car with a Title of Jaguar. If they tried to sell it with the TITLE of TATA - XF, that would have been an epic fail. And that is what TATA wanted, they wanted the name. A name which attracts the market. And lets wait and see what will happen...

  • @MUSlC1213 Land Rover is known all over the world, it's just as good as BMW and is probably known about by more people because of the Defenders and Wolves used by the UN, the British and most commonwealth armies and various international aid groups.

The Jaguar brand is even more prestigious than BMW and is generally more respected, more BMWs are sold but the luxury of a Jag is greater.

  • @G1NZOU

There is a reason more people choose BMW and Mercedes over Jaguar and LR

    But think what you want...

  • @MUSlC1213 I will think what I want.

Notice I didn't say BMW or Mercedes were bad, far from it, they're awesome.

It is possible to like more than a couple of car companies you know.

Think about what Land Rover is about, do Mercedes or BMW match them in that field, no, they make great road cars but anyone who buys an X5 or a GL-class is an idiot, it doesn't make the car companies bad, just bad in that area of motoring.

  • @MUSlC1213 Although Porshe did the Cayenne which actually works fantastic off road, like a big, tall rally car, as said by actual rally drivers who have driven it at speed on rally tracks.

  • @MUSlC1213 And don't forget the deep history between Britain and India back in the colonial era (British East Indian Company anyone?) so it does make sense.

And the history of Jaguar is much more prestigious and glamorous than BMW. Something that failure in sales or less prestigious ownership can't ruin.

  • funny how this car used to drive the kings and queens of england, who used indians as slaves in India and South Africa. Today, Indians own this company which enslaved their ancestors. Ironic...and truly advancement for the country India!

    BROWN POWER!!! (nothing racist)

  • are youi fucked kid?

  • @skbuoy ya definately! my great grandparents were slaves brought to the west indies (guyana) by the brits

  • @skbuoy: Jai Hind! :)

  • @skbuoy You do like talking bollocks

  • @trueindian11 No, they call the chairman of Jaguar their boss. All Ratan Tata's slaves in India call him boss.

  • @skbuoy

You have a very good point, skbouy. The baton is changing hands.

  • @skbuoy "funny how this car used to drive the kings and queens of england, who used indians as slaves in India and South Africa."

Don't invoke slavery when your country was BUILT by slaves.

"Today, Indians own this company which enslaved their ancestors."

When did Jaguar use slave labour? TATA may own Jaguar, but do they play any part in the design and construction of Jags? Fuck off and learn something you prick.

  • @skbuoy Nothing racist but Indians may own the company but it's still designed and made by Brits, mainly because Indians couldn't make anything like it, and as a country India has over 500 million people living in abject poverty and can't (won't) do anything about it. The infrastructure in India is woeful, truly third world in every sense, your roads are abysmal, your train system (built by the British) is antiquated, and the Chinese are surging ahead in high-speed rail transport. Nothing racist

  • @skbuoy Plus, we Brits give India over a £1 billion annually in "aid", supposedly to help your poorer states (like Bihar) when we know in fact that due to endemic corruption the money that the British taxpayer forks out gets siphoned off by dodgy Indian politicians into their dodgy foreign bank accounts. Nothing racist. Brown power??

  • @skbuoy Don't get too carried away. An Indian Multinational private company owns it, not the Indian people. So you have a case of misjudged patriotism. The royalty also used a mixture of brands and cars, not just Jags. And if you look carefully, there is bugger all Indian engineering in this car.

  • @migasson dont get to cocky there

  • Oh god, my bonner just woke up

  • bullshit this handles better than an s class...biiiaaassss

  • @justforwatchingcraps As far as I can remember, it did beat the Maserati Quattroporte around the nurburgring so it's possible and don't forget that the XJ Competes with the standard S Class.

Your comparing the XJ to the S63/S65 AMG am I right?

  • @mondeost2202008 That depends on which XJ you are referring to. The Supercharged XJ would compare to the S63 and the Supersports would compare with the S65. The base line XJ would be in line with the S550

  • @Roshon3L if you're not European, or American? What r you. And who do think you are saying we should get rid of our cars, if our cars are the best in the world. Sure japan has some good ones. But nobody can do cars quite like Europeans or Americans. There just.... Well, the best.

  • i like both s-class and the new XJ, but with not a moment of hesitation i would go for the BMW 7-SERIES !

  • @MrBazpoker Bmw's are for cocky men who wear multi-colored sun glasses. Especially the m3.

  • Comment removed

  • @L571J it funded by an Indian company but it design built and managed by brtish people. It's still British

  • @L571J xf was made when ford was in charge dumbass. And tata only give them money. It's still completely British.

  • @trijjj ur retard. My fart drives better than the s class

  • @refresh967 New Mercedes S class is probably the best saloon car ever made.

  • can they replace this wanking nerd by someone that looks proper :)

  • jaguar is very nice, but do not compare it to S class... S clas is simply better than any competition

  • Some cars take a little getting used to visually.. Original Ford focus, new S and E class, New 7 series etc,, However the back of that Hyundai, sorry Kia, sorry XJ, well heh! NO amount of time or open mindedness can diminish that ghastly 'cross-eyed' spectacle, which Jaguar refers to as"The rear end". How ugly.

  • Sexiest car ever? I think so.

  • i think this is something above merc and bmw. this is in the league of aston martin rapide and porsche panamera. freakin awesome :D

  • totally fucking awesome

  • is it the same 510hp engine campared to 2010 range rover supercharged???

  • hed need a car like that to pull a bird. specky fat twat

  • It's 510hp not 503hp

  • @E27000 The power rating for the Supersport is 510ps (503hp), not 510hp.

  • i want a short wheelbase one, want want

  • @powersliding

me too! ever since I saw that car, I loved it!

  • Sure Jaguar is Indian owned. BUT this Jaguar was designed by Englishmen, and is built in Britain, as the engine, Jaguar designed, comes from a Welsh Ford plant, and shipped to the Jaguar plant in England. So it's not "historical" , this car is British- compare this to Bentley, designed by a Brazilian, a German engine and finished in England, the Rolls Royce Phantom, the engine, chassis and body are German built. It's safe to say that Jaguar is still British when compared.

  • Is that a chauffeur's car ?

Which one is better if you're 20 Years Old and wanna buy this or XF???

  • @seauryakumar At 20 years old I would recommend the XF as it is more of a youthful car. They are both excellent cars but the XF is better for the young driver as it is smaller than this so it won't handle like a barge, and is a more casual sort of car. This XJ is in my mind for being driven in, not driving.

  • @mu51im I am 19 years old, and I would have the XJ over the XF

  • @seauryakumar No not at all. ALL jaguars are drivers cars, and this is no exception

  • @seauryakumar I would buy this car. It's so damn sexy. Its in the class of the Quattroporte.

  • The Jag is beautiful, but jags have always been good looking, and they have ALWAYS had electrical problems and long term quality issues. At the end of 10 thousand miles, the big Benz will still be going strong and solid as a rock, but the Jag will have to go in for some annoying electrical glitch.

Between the two.....I'll take the S550, and make it black on black.

  • @pm512 You have been misinformed. You obviously do not own a Jaguar.

  • @pm512 Jaguar's used to have electrical problems, back when they had Lucas electronics. When Ford took over Jaguar, that changed and Jaguar became very reliable in all standards. Now, they are owned by TATA motors, and their quality went up even further.

  • Of course, Jag is no longer British. It is Indian now and that is why the cars stopped sucking an entered the 21st century.

  • @L571J Jaguar is not indian. They are British. They are
