I've been wearing my first tray out of 19 upper and my first of 15 lower it cost me 6000.00..but my smile I feel will be priceless. So far so good for me. Hey Zecheriah This video cool just what I've been wanting to know. Thanks.
I just put in my 11s (top and bottom) out of 18. They hurt really bad. Haha. But that's a price you pay for having really nice teeth in a fraction of the time you would have with metal braces.
can invisaligners help u to reduce weight coz they're pretty sensitive...you have to take 'em off whenever u eat and drink such as juices and etc..well..they can make you brush your teeth thrice a day too! that's a lot of work but for the sake of having a perfect smile.. y not?hahaha
Hey ! I just got my own set of trays, but my dentist didnt gave me much info about them... so do I have to remove them if I drink a beer for example ? And Do I always have to brush my teeth after I eat ? I really don't know...
Yah, I have Invisalign. You have to take them out to eat or drink anything EXCEPT COOL WATER. Beer, coffee, soda, etc can stain the trays. And food can crack them.
How extensive is the repair? Cause' I figured if the extent of the repairment should bear on the price. Now your teeth are pretty straight as it is. So if it cost you 5000$ it will cost me triple that much :-S
I don't think it matters.. I'm pretty sure it's just a flat rate.. my sister and I had the same price and I was scheduled to be done around 6 months after her even though she ended up having some problems and I finished before her. I also know someone with MESSED up teeth and they got an average price also.
Ok, but that's kinda' a ripoff. I mean my teeth are straight, but I have a gap between my two front teeth that I've always meant to take care of. But that's about it. So for me to pay 5000$ for such a small defect is rediculous, yet there's no other treatment available on the market.
First you need to qualify for the invisalign treatment, meaning your orthodontist must determine whether or not invisalign can correct your problems. If invisalign can't, then the ortho will suggest traditional braces. The price of invisalign depends on where you live and how long your treatment is, the average treatment period is 12-18 months. $5000 seems to be the average price give or take couple hundred.
How can the price be dependent upon anything? The user says it's a flat rate.
Now, as I said, the only thing I want to fix is the gap between my two front teeth. The rest of my teeth are pretty straight; and for a little gap I think it's scandalous to shell out 5000$.
it is a little scandalous, no doubt.. but that's why there's regular braces also. invisalign is an extreme luxury and they know it... and make people pay for it
Well, it is a luxury, true. But getting down to brass tax, we're talking here about plastic aligners. It should cost much, I agree, but 5 K? That is over the top. I saved me some money in hopes that I will be able to pay for it. When I heard that all that effort will not even cover half of the cost I lost it. I can go with 2000 even 3000$
shiiittt . I didnt check the prices or shop. The place has 10 new clients a day, its huge and I thought it was very professionnal. My place is in Montreal...
okay u seem to have nice teeth,,,,,,how bad were they b4 u got invisalign,,,,,crowding overbite underbite???? askin cause i thinkin abt gettin some and need an opinion frm sum1 who's been through it......
Tom from Belgium here..... its indeed funny to talk about teeth....I have started my invisaligntreatment this year in february.... it's a good invention....
I just got mine on Thursday and the only people who knew I was wearing them were those I told that I was getting them. And they had to look close to see them. Even some people I told didn't even notice. I walked past my friend in Chemistry and said, "They feel funny," and she didn't know what I was talking about. Another one of my friends who I told didn't even realize I was wearing them.
And I went up to the office to get a Tylenol with my friend and the lady didn't believe I was wearing them.
Hi, it looks so easy when you take the trays out! I only have 4 more days to go til I change to my 2nd tray and it's not as easy for me to take mine out! Am I doing something wrong? If you can have a look at my video to see whether I'm doing something wrong? Much appreciated!!!
do you have attachments? thats the only tricky part really as far as taking them out goes. they slide right off pretty easily for me but where i need to put my fingers is where the attachments are so i can pull it over that. for example where i did it with just my thumb, thats where my biggest attachment is so once i get it off of that its easy for those ones... it does get a lot easier though the longer you have them
DEFINITLY! worth it my treatment is 7 months i just started a week ago but its soo cool how you can see you teeth and how they will move and the final result so it will keep you motovated reg braces dont show you that..and you have to wait 1 year or 2 or even 3.now i will tell you this THEY HURT bad from time to time but its not worse then braces so to me wayy better option
I am a lucky one.. i'm 20 years old and both my parents are in the Military (or were.. but still get the benefits) so as long as i'm in school i get their benefits till i'm 25. this is in canada though. i hear in the states though if you wanna pay straight up its like 2000 less than it is to buy them outright here
Yes as a matter of fact I have watched some of your videos... I am beating you I think, I'm ahead of you're treatment by 7 days and I will be done first :P haha. Oh and could you imagine pulling off an attachment! oh god that would hurt.
The ortho guy told me that the only thing that really stains them is red wine. the only discoloring possibility is if stuff gets stuck underneath the trays then they will rot your teeth. I'll go into further depth in my next video.. keep shooting questions and i'll get to them
Thanks for showing us how to put them in and out, and what a new tray is supposed to feel like. Do you have any attachments? If so, how many? Yeah, a video on how to clean them would be cool. Also how long have you been waiting to actually get your invisalign trays, because I have been waiting for over 6 weeks and have yet to receive them. If you can remember.
I have 7 attachments. I think I had to wait a little over a month but they said it could have been longer. I'll talk about this stuff more in my next video in two weeks time.
Great video! I subscribed b/c I'm curious to know what the process is like. I'm coming in for a consultation next month. Do people notice you're wearing them? I'm thinking I might have to get attachments on two of my front teeth, to rotate them out, since they're slightly crooked. Is it annoying having to brush after every meal? I'm at college as well, so I'm worried I won't have time to brush after lunch, and go to my next class. Don't really want to stain them.

What coverage do you have? I live in Canada but I think I'm only covered for 50% and I'd much prefer the 100% to be covered. Thanks for any replies

Thanks for the video.
Can youm please help me settle of issue once and for all? How much does it cost? Some people tell me 5000 others that only 2000.
Now I dunno how anyone can afford a 5000 treatment. That is the sum total of 5 months of rent over here. Crazy.

mine were free because I have insane coverage.... and I live in Canada. full price was around 5-6 grand though
