  • Someone needs to get these on Metal-Archives- there not on there

  • @Hughesy16LFC its true

  • This is for me the absolute synonym of feeling ....

  • Há anos tô atrás desse play, puts...

  • very fuckin nice song!!!! UP THE NWOBHM!!!

  • i love the intro!

  • This is the song that first got me in to Rock/Metal.. I heard it on The Friday Rock Show with Tommy Vance about '82'(ish).. And it still rocks now...!!

  • Thanks for up-roading,Kirm74. I miss those my young days, when I used to love Diamondhead,Samson. I'm a japanese and still live in Japan, but I'll keep on headbanging forever.

  • OMG!! My favourite N.W.O.B.H.M band!!!

Praying mantis forever one of the most powerful heavy metal band on this fuckin earth...

This album is the best of this band.

Guitar solo on this song are just amazing, thanks for posting this video!

  • Yes, I also think that this tune's ending guitar solo is a highlight scene of entire this album.

    It's very cool!!

    Thanks for looking!

  • I also like very much "Running for tomorrow" but of course this album is a jewel...

You know the instrumental song: "A Question Of Time" by P.Mantis?

    Take care!

  • I think that "Time Tells No Lies" in all other songs are wonderful, like I have no choice but to feel that the "famous-classical-good KINKS's cover" isn't satisfactory.

Of course, "Running for tomorrow" is very nice, too!

"Question Of Time" is a tune of Mantis initial? I know.

It is collected to "Demorabilia" CD.

    Thanks!

  • Well, to me, the album has more weaker points than just the cover of Kinks.

Among them are two other tracks sung by Tino, that is "Panic in the Streets" and "Flirting with Suicide". They seem to lack this typical Mantis feeling, this kind of melancholy. I mean every NWOBHM band could record such songs, not only the best one :) Damn it, I even prefer the earlier songs "Praying Mantis" and "High Roller" to those two!

But I love Mantis mostly for their later efforts, following the 1990 reunion.

  • Me too, I find those two the best ones. "30 pieces of silver" would be the third best, had it been put on this album. I'll never understand why it hadn't...

  • amazing guitar solo in " 30 pieces of silver"

I have also this one in my favourite now...

  • kyopsis,

Yeees! I love Tino's guitar play, too!

  • Slamazzar,

Aha! I think that your idea is also certainly good.

However, I like other one very much, "Flirting with Suicide" :-)

If it's not an analog disk....

The number of tunes had increased and "High Roller" and "Praying Mantis" might have been included in this album if CD was general existence in 1981.

    Thanks!

  • Well, on the original, each side was 19 minutes long, so two more songs would perfectly fit... Ok, I can understand why they omitted the "Praying Mantis" single: the line-up changed, so the style changed a bit too. But those "30 pieces"... that's what you call missed opportunity.

  • Thanks for uploading this. Saved me the trouble. I love Mantis, they're awesome, great work!

  • Thanks for looking!

    I love Mantis, too.

  • Your welcome, nice channel too!
