I'm 22 years old and I've been a Packer fan since I was 4. I've watched Brett ever since he first started and I'll always remember those great years he has given us. It will never be the same. Brett Favre #4, the GREATEST quarterback of all time!!!
I was lucky enough to be in the stands at Lambeau that sunny day in September of '92, when Don "Magic" Majikowski was injured and Brett stepped onto the field! What a great day!! He tossed that first "pass" and never looked back. Magic who? (sorry, but it's true) Now, I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that he's "gone"... I love my Packers, but it will never be the same. Never. GO PACK!!
hey guys i didn't mean that in the comment i was reffering to this one guy who said "thanks for the interception record"... i think brett farve is the best or one of the best QB's ever... sorry about that
Well, Brett I gotta say you were the most amazing QB I ever saw, even better than John Elway was. Every time I saw an amazing throw of Bretts, after awhile I wouldn't be surprised one bit. That's just the way he played the game, with passion. And I'm especially sad cause he never won here in Dallas. I wanted him to win at least once here.
Yeah, I forgot about that, but I wanted him to win everywhere as this guy deserved it by completing passes that had no business being complete. A lot of people say Tony Romo plays like Brett did, truth is, I don't think there are any QBs that play like him. Well at least, not now.
Very true. But who cares what everybody else thinks, some people get to statiscal, its WINNING that gets you fame. And he did a lot of winning. He is the best ever.
thats for all the wonder years bret us as pack fans and as fans of you will miss seeing you on sundays .and to me it will be hard watching a game without hearing your name in the lineup .
not to mention his feat over pain pills and alcohol addiction to keep his family together. no QB or NFL player will ever be comparable to brett! but until he addresses the media i will believe he is comming back.i mean come on brett. you have the talent around you now! i hope he pulls out of it. LOVE YA!
He is my favorite player! I am so sad that he retireed. The Packers have always been my favorite team all-time and hope they can do as well as they did when Brett was still there.
that's a very good point, we all know he can still play but it's true that to go out on top of his game he'd basically have to win the super bowl after how they ended the season this year. you definitely have to respect that decision, he went out probably as good as he could have and his last season was one of his best. it's probably the wisest choice for him, but damn will I miss him...it's gonna be weird seeing #12 starting in the pocket. FAVRE 4EVER.
i cant believe it....his last play was a INT i really like everybody else was certain he was coming back..and mizzou is right his star still shines and will forever shine canton in 5 years!
No other QB comes close to topping Brett Favre
